    1000g != 10kg.

    • wait, so this scale doesn't actually let you measure up to 10kg?

      • Well the description on Amazon does say 10000g/10kg even if the title of the listing says 1000g, so it probably does. Probably.

      • It does (I think)! I have one of these and they definitely measure above 1kg. Never tried anything bigger than 3kgs on it though.

    • the photo clearly shows max 5000 g = 5kg lol

  • Code gave $7.6 off but charging $5.99 shipping. Total order cost is $17.38 delivered

    • Free delivery with Prime

      • which costs $6.99, unless you intend to buy more stuff (and have already used up your trial).

  • I have one that looks identical to this but the 1g increment doesn't always register. Not great for measuring yeast or bread improver when making bread. But I have a rough idea of what 3g of each looks like so I make do. I do already have my flour on the scale in a tin before adding the small amounts.

This one seems to do upto 5 kilos at 1 gram accuracy for $8.50

    • Yeah, and the one above can do 10kg at the same accuracy, as well as being battery powered. I mean sure, you're offering an inferior product for $3 cheaper but was there a reason to neg?

  • Don't think this is a bargain, this is not like a well-known brand that goes down in price. It's just another kitchen scale around the same price mark.

With 11.39 or add on a little bit extra I can get a higher quality scale else where, even on Aliexpress.

    • Got a link to one you recommend?

This is cheapest I could find. Can you find one cheaper than this with USB rechargeable & battery powered?

One of the rare occasions I can offer some advice on Ozbargain as I have one of these!

    Pros:
    - Quite small and portable, but big enough to still be able to read the display when a wider bowl is placed on it.
    - Very light and plastic, which can be a con for some but I like touching a kitchen scale that isn't cold and not having to worry about breaking the scale when throwing it around (don't recommend throwing it around though obviously).
    - Has rubber feet so it doesn't slide on the kitchen counter, although which kitchen doesn't have rubber feet let's be honest.
    - Can switch to imperial measurements oh wait this should be a con
    - Is USB RECHARGEABLE, which is something people in the comments section seem to miss a lot. Now I work at a kitchenware store where none of the 9 varieties of kitchen scales we have are rechargeable. I didn't even know these existed until I saw them on Amazon and I bought it straight away when I saw they that they existed. On top of that, my boss is very generous towards me because we're a local business and let's me take for free small items from the kitchenware store, including the kitchen scales. I decided to not take those free kitchen scales and instead bought this one off Amazon, which I hope shows some commenters here how important the rechargeable nature of these scales are. We always have customers coming asking for those coveted button batteries that go in these devices. We use the display scales for measuring the weight of our parcels when we pack online orders and no matter how 'long life' they claim to be, they literally run out of battery after a couple of months (granted we use them more often compared to normal kitchen use). It's nice to know that when your device runs out of battery, you don't have to go around hunting for button batteries. Instead, you can plug your kitchen scale into the computer.

    Cons:
    - It is not extremely accurate. I have weighed containers with nuts in them, emptied them, then filled them back up with the same nuts but seen a 1g difference in the weight. Not sure if I've actually lost that 1g in the process of moving the nuts but, to err on the side of caution, be ready to expect +-2g to the weight displayed. Tbh, if you were measuring very precise amounts, you would be buying a scale with a lower max weight and more precise graduation anyway (i.e. 500g/0.01g).
    - The plastic sticker on top of the scale is peeling off on my device despite never having tried to peel it off, but it also peels off very easily if you don't want it anyway.
    - Charging port is microUSB. Unless you don't have USB-C cords. Then this would be a pro.
    - Weird packaging design on the box but device measure my rice, oats and nuts so don't really care.

I bought these last year on Prime Day for ~$15. Lasted 5 months on first charge. Am a very happy chappy with this purchase.
