      Looks new and the cylinder is sealed and all. The postie had left it outside tho and pretty sure it got plenty of direct sunlight and vitamin D.

      I just wonder if there's a way to check if the cylinder is leaking without removing the seal on top. Already own a Sodastream so was thinking about gifting this one.

        You can weigh it. My completely empty cylinder is 745g. There should be about 400g of CO2 in a full one.

        just soak it into water and c if any bubbles.
