  • Nice Got one. Thanks.

  • thanks OP, got 2 from amazon as officeworks showed sold out at checkout

  • MK470 Slim Combo: at that price not unifying receiver.

I think the mouse profile is not that great for ergonomic reasons.

    • -1

I gave up on the unifying receiver. More trouble than its worth.

  • nice, I was just thinking yesterday about refreshing the keyboard in the living room

Lol you must be a male for sure haha

I remember getting the MK220 for $19 about 3-4 years ago lol. Great little keyboard mouse combo. Super small. Had about 3 of em.

  • +5

MK220 is tiny and crappy. You would not want to use it all day, definitely not if you do much typing. Good for occasional use on a server or something maybe.

The dongle is quite bulky and doesn't fit in the mouse, so it's not great for a laptop either.

  • +1

Just trying to work out why I'd need one as I've got two laptops and that's it, but THERE MUST BE A REASON……..?

  • +5

MK220 is currently the lowest price but not the cheapest. JB HiFi and The Good Guys have had this as low as $13.30 in the past.
For a device that was released in March 2014. Can't believe this still retails for $50.

I've had this. Personally, I did not like the up and down arrow keys to be half a key size. If you use arrow keys a lot, you are most likely going to have a hard time using this.

    • +1

Same. The MK220 keyboard due to its size uses smaller half size laptop cursor style up/down keys. USB adapter is non unifying and sticks out 3cm.

  • +3

This keyboard's layout is terrible though… try it out in person first if possible…

  • I think the MK470 might have been a pricing error that's now fixed. I'm getting buying options of $84+ from Amazon

    • Maybe not a pricing error. Either way, I got my order accepted at the local Officeworks for C&C

  • It says "Incorporates Bluetooth Low Energy technology" in the description but as far as I understand MK470 is not Bluetooth enabled.

  • Is this basically the m185 mouse ?

  • Too bad MK470 is not available on Amazon. It's a nice combo with Bluetooth so no popping out receiver required

  • Siiigh out of stock can't even order it in just went to Officeworks in Sydney city

  • +1

Can we just use the keyboard and not the mouse? Need something basic to use on ps5.

    • +7

Nah sorry man, when you buy this item they make you sign a contract that you must use both the keyboard and the mouse. Breaking this rule is punishable by up to 5 years jail or 6000 penalty points, whatever that means. Not worth the risk…

  • doesnt seem to add to cart ?

  • Find a mate who can buy keyboard from taobao in China, get it shipped to here, still almost half of the price. P

  • Couldn't order so picked up a bunch from hardly normal for the same price

  • Currently have the MK220 gets the job done but definitely could be better

Is MK470 Slim Combo worth the upgrade for $38

  • I bought four of the MK470s from Officeworks yesterday, and used one last night for a few hours.

The key press action is nice, I like the feel. However being a compact keyboard, I found it awkward to use. I didn't realise how much I rely on the feel of the empty spaces between the keys, in order to find the cursor keys and other keys. I found I had to keep looking down at the keyboard, and it was impacting my productivity with it.

Second, the mouse just didn't feel comfortable to me. The clicks are not clicky enough, and the design is unusual. I could probably get used to it.

Overall the build quality and feel is good, but the ergonomics don't suit me. I'll use it for a bit longer, but probably return them

  • Will this work with an iMac or only with a windows machine? Looking at the white mk470 as the Apple keyboard is $150 to replace.

    • Specs say this only supports Windows and Chrome. However Logitech do provide drivers for Mac OS 10.13, 10.14, 10.15 and 11.0. So assume it would work if your running one of those OS versions and have a free USB port for the wifi receiver.

  • I wasnt able to buy the MK470 but got a Price Match with JB instore - so cheering from $89 town to $38. Wifey is happy. If she is reading, ILY!
