  • Thanks to Auditech and the like, we no longer need to go through Boost directly

    • What do you mean? What am I out of the loop on?

      • +2

Places like Auditech regularly do the $300 Starter Kit for $240, with a $30 Vodafone Starter Kit included and Free Postage.

        It’s awesome

They also do deals on the other Boost Kits

      thank you. Bought from ebay

      • Hey mate, how was the purchased? I wanted to give this one ago, but not sure on the seller.
        Cheers.

        • Good. received it in 2 days via express post.

Note "applicable to new Boost Mobile Prepaid customers only" for the 120GB bonus data.

    • +2

So tired of these "new customers" only type - is there no reward for loyalty anymore? What values are we trying to teach?

      • +1

        Couldn’t agree more.

I’ve been with them for years, and they reward strangers over loyal customers.

They must laugh when they see so many customers port out and back within an hour to get better value.

        • +1

That's how you show on your reports that % of new customers joined and get the promotion!

  • About time they dropped this bonus data bullshit. It just makes them look bad.

  • Can i port out of boost then port in? Which network should i port out to? Thanks!

    • +2

      Lebara, Optus, Vodafone..

There are plenty, just make sure it’s not someone who uses Telstra like Belong.

      • Thank you! Will port out of boost then use any of the ones you mentioned then use the starter pack again. That should work right? :)

        • +1

          Absolutely

          • @[Deactivated]: Thanks! Appreciate it!

            • @theacekiller888: I bought a Lebara Medium plan on special at woolies this week reduced to $10 with 35gb data.

I will use it for a month then go back to Boost.

The port out was really easy and was actioned last Wednesday night within minutes of putting in the Lebara sim and filling in the online details.

Its crazy we have to go through this rigmarole just to renew at a price that new starters get.

But hey, we have to play the game to get these deals…

              • @harveyworld: Yep, I did the exact same thing

    • Simply talk to their online chat(not telephonic support) and tell them you want to use this sim kit to recharge your existing boost number.

      • Will they let you use the sim kit to recharge an existing number?

        • Yes they do. You need to be patient and polite while asking for that with the customer care chat via the app(not telephone).

  • What is the fastest way port in and out from Boost/Telstra? Can't really afford to be without for more than a few days.

    • +1

Porting out and back on with most providers takes less than an hour.

Make sure to do with between business hours Monday to Fri

Some providers want you to recharge as part of your activation and some want credit card details.

Find the best provider for you, and make sure you remember to click ‘keep my number’ so that you come back with your own phone number

    Same thing cheaper

Use BEST200 to make it $159ish

  • Which one better boost or woolworth mobile ? They are using the same network
