                @noobshoes: This is dodgy as. Tech Warehouse restocked (can add out item to cart and checkout right now) on the site and changed their name to Electronics Superstore.

                      @Woodyg22: If you start using it then they'll take that to mean you are happy to keep it. If you actually do want to keep it, then I'd suggest pushing them very hard for at least a $80 refund which other ozbargainers have been offered. Don't tell them you've opened it yet either!

                      @Woodyg22: Very quickly, within about 12 hours. That being said they have not sent me anything for days now so I think they might be closed over the long weekend.

                        Kogan just got back to me. They're willing to pay for return postage, inspect it and then send me an S5 Max. Not sure how long all that would take or how successful that would be.

                        I'm keen on the mopping so the S6 and partial refund doesn't seem as appealing.

                              @Woodyg22: My replacement has just been posted too. Nearly accepted the partial refund until I received a notification that it was back in stock.

                              • @prodnus: I've posted mine back, they said I could keep the partial refund of $80. They provided me with free return post. Might be S5 max for $400 including a week trial of S6 Pure. What a shit show though.

                                    @Woodyg22: Got the S5 max replacement today after sending S6 back tuesday. Good to see you guys are getting S5 max too, and then got lucky with the refunds/credits. I did not get any $$$ as I was adamant to refuse them. But yes what a sideshow. I think Kogan senior care stepped in to temper backlash.

                                        @Woodyg22: Nice. Shipping was always overnight for me. "Express" auspost with them has been good unlike other sellers where it could take few days to a week. Using the S6 for a week the roborock app is pretty decent and smooth compared to what ive seen with others. Seamless setup with s5max but had to remap house again.

    Its pathetic though that many of us paid for it and recieved something else. Hopefully the isse is resolved soon.

  • This was the second time I'd ordered an s5 max, at least this time something was delivered. Figured I was happy to have something rather than nothing, mop function not that mandatory for us. Paid $410 after cashback and kogan reimbursement for an S6 pure, so can't complain. Pretty happy with the machine so far…

      It's the other way around. If mopping is important, the S5 Max is better with its app integrated water control and larger tank.

    I received the S6 pure too. They know what they were doing, this isn’t a once off accident. So dodgy. This is the end of my kogan journey too I think given everyone else’s experiences too.

    Finally received my order and FMD ……… an S6 Pure.

    I received the standard $20 compensation "gesture of goodwill" and "it's a better model" BS.

    I've asked for a full refund if they can not supply the S5 Max. If no resolution in 5 days (S5 Max received or refund processed), I'll proceed with CC chargeback.

    Some suppliers are "can do", these people are "cant's"

    Came back in here to ask about international model/app region settings problem. Did not expect a whole saga going on here. Lucky to have received a S5 Max.

  • Getting replacement S5 MAX as well after sending back S6 Pure - gotten the Fig8 cable and S5 should be here today - so cross fingers!

  • I'm also getting a replacement S5 MAX as well after sending back S6 Pure - it's been posted hopefully it's the right product this time !! However express postage is slow to Sydney, item Posted Wednesday was held in the Mel postal facility overnight only arrived into Syd Fri morning, so will see if it arrives today otherwise will be Monday delivery for me.   • How can you check if your received S5 Max is local AU model or Intl model - I just opened mine, and the included cable is AU version, and the Thank You note is referring to AU customer service.

      What's the significant difference? My understanding it's only the cable ? Performance and spec wise should be the same international version vs Australian? Plus the local warranty? Can you go direct to Xiaomi or via Kogan?

      I got mine and it's also got the euro plug,and barcode has an Amsterdam address. I'm just happy to get the S5 Max replacement as I was sent the S6 Pure so pretty stoked they honoured it.

  • Finally received my S5 Max a month later…
    During that time I sent a dozen emails to Kogan, my bank and afterpay.
    I had a trial S6 Pure for 2 weeks.
    Posted my S6 Pure back.
    I got refunded $80 cash.
    Finally today my S5 Max is on the charge awaiting mapping.

    1/10 would not buy again from Kogan

      They just offered me a refund or $60 credit.
      Yep, Kogan and KGN share is on my blacklist to not ever deal with again.
