Moved from Eufy to Reolink and really happy with it, this is/was a steal.

  • damn i was in the market for a good priced cctv system..

  • Recently installed 4 Reolink cameras all hooked up to the NVR. Best value for money. Had to re run the patch leads provided, as first they were shitty quality cables and secondly they weren't long enough. Just get a 100metre roll of Cat 5E/Cat 6 ready along with RJ45 plugs and crimpers.

    • Do you know whether you can have the cameras record on motion to MicroSD and NVR to record 24/7?

      • Not possible

        • You sure? Feature is available to hikvision. Can't we access each camera separately via IP and modify settings?

          • @R3XNebular: I don't completely understand your question. Footages are recorded onto the NVR and can be accessed via IP/Reolink app. It records 24/7 and you have 2TB

            • @TRD: Can you have the each individual IP camera record only via motion detection with the NVR recording 24/7

Note: The micro SD card is only for motion detection recording. The recording time in this article is the total sum of all motion videos.

So definitely records on motion only and the NVR has 24/7 looped recording

          • @R3XNebular: It's one or the other. Can both record. The sd card is when using the IPC as a standalone without the nvr

@DoesntEvenMatter: Damn that sucks, hikvision allows for both. Will double check when system arrived and report back

are they connected via ethernet? does the system have wifi support? like built in wifi

      • Ethernet.. No WiFi

      • You need to plug in an ethernet cable to the NVR box in order to get your live view/playback onto the network. From there you can access the footages on your phone via wifi or mobile data.
