    Use code LOVEKEANU and also combine with 6% cash back from cashrewards for further saving

      I tried the code but unfortunately it didn't work for me. It was saying this:

      This is a valid coupon code, but there are no matching items currently in your cart.

        Coupon KONG7 works to bring it down to $1568 :)

        • So if you stack this with cashrewards cash back you can get an additional $94 back if my maths is correct (likely not).

          • @drinkin-beer: No harm in giving it a try, but considering that the code isn't listed on CR I'd say it would just come back as denied.

    Not a bad price compared to others like LG, Acer, but still more than it has been over the last month, e.g.:
    * https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/613693 - $1549 @ Dell eBay (29th March)
    * https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/611554 - $1568 @ Dell AU (19th March)

    I'm pretty sure it'll hit these prices again in the not-too-distant future given the history of Dell monitor deals.

    Edit: OK, didn't know about the KONG7 stackable code mentioned above. :)

  • What happened to the 34”? Has it been discontinued, no deals for months..

    • Pretty sure all of the 34" 3440x1440 IPS models for any brand are being discontinued for these 38" 3840x1600 models. Dell, LG and Acer all have offerings in this size now.

      • looks that way, surprised as 34" would be more suitable for most than 38"

        • Even a 3090 would (probably) struggle to get 100fps on this bad boy depending on the game I would think, its a lot of pixels.

    Refurb from Dell for $1309 - 2 left in stock - https://www.dell.com/en-au/outlet/refurbished-alienware-38-c…

    • Anything wrong with refurbished models?

      • 3 Years Panel warranty - should be right

      • Potentially returned units with a new replaced panel, it’s $240 saving, I got one from eBay a few days ago for $1623 with 5 yr warranty more gst for me to claim as the invoice issued for full price and further $80 with eBay gift cards, so no point for me to get refurbished ones.

        I bought one of those refurbished at 1309. Shipment was quick, just within 2 3 business days. However, my screen is having a vertical banding issue. It's not very noticeable and annoying but i'm still looking for a replacement from Dell because it's a >1K monitor

    • Thanks for sharing, both goneskies as of some time this morn.

      Assuming the units are healthy and Dell do right by the buyers warranty-wise, those would be quite the bargain.

      • There's another refurb AW3821DW for $1309 on the Dell Outlet store.

  • Bah - finally giving up and buying this. Upgrading from an AOC 31" $270 monitor. Should be alright.

  • Has anyone had experience with dells returns policy? According to chat they have change of mind within 14 days.
