New Customers

Before you activate make sure you get a referral code from a friend who is already with Belong for an additional $20 credit.

2 Months 23GB — Activate on the $25 20GB per month plan. Then switch to the $15 3GB per month plan for the 2nd month. You should be able to switch straight away once your account is set up & activated. The first 2 months cost is covered ($25 starter pack credit plus $20 referral credit) and data rolls over every month or can be gifted. $5 referral credit will be left over.

2 Months 40GB — Activate on the $25 20GB per month plan & stay there for the 2nd month. This will cost you another $5 as the referral credit is only $20.

Hack For Existing Belong Customers

Activate the same as above but in a family or friends name & email. Use your referral code to give yourself $20 credit. Make sure you actually use the new sim in a spare phone so you can't be accused of breaching the "Customer Terms". Gift the 23GB data to yourself gradually or towards the end of the 2 months.

I thought you offered a $10 smaller 1G plan?
We did, but the Belongs $10 plan is no longer be available for new sign-ups.

You can cancel your service by notifying us. We’ll cancel your service within 24 hours. It may take up to 24 hours to process your request, so you’ll need to let us know at least 24 hours before the start of the next monthly bill cycle. If you want to keep your number then port out before the next payment date, this will cancel your account too.

  Seems these are always on sale somewhere for $10 now. Perhaps it it their way of attempting to counter the $15 dollar minimum per month that annoyed everyone.

    I look at these starter packs purely for sim slutting & what you can get out of them without paying any more.
    So $5 per month for 2 months with 23GB is pretty good.

    Also the hack is awesome if you're currently on the $10 plan & have a spare phone or dual sim phone.

      I ran out of the max referrals a while ago! :( and dont want to switch as otherwise I will lose the $10/month plan that they have discontinued

        Yes I know, it's a dilemma, but if you have a lot of data to use up then it might be worth staying.

        I think I will be porting out to Kogan 60GB 90 days when the time comes because sim slutting is cheaper.

          @WatchNerd: something to think about definitely. I do have 100GB+ sitting from the unlimited data banking from the past! so will wait a bit longer before porting out.

        In the same boat regarding max-out referrals. I've using replacement sim method to recharge once a while and remain on $10 plan to see if there is a better options from other providers

            @polarq: Did it twice during last two months. I've maxed out referrals and now can only recharge at a discounted rate while remaining on $10 plan.
            -Buy discounted $25 sim
            -Raise a request via Activate a replacement Sim
            -Once successful, $25 will be added to your balance

              @ja912son: Out of curiosity, what do you tell them in the support request to activate a replacement sim? just "please add the balance to my number with this new sim I bought" ?

  I’ve had enough of Belong and don’t want to deal with their customer service anymore. Anyone with them that wants my data before I port out. I should have 18-19gb to gift.
