Are these better value than the tech fast one that was out up the other day?

100 more for an i7 and next week delivery i think so

    • +1

Branded components. Seems like a good deal

https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/7WmCW3 - I have the wrong case and RAM (for some reason the case is not in PC Part Picker, even though I can see stores have it, the RAM I have no idea, 3200mhz CL22 RAM basically doesn't exist so I picked something cheap) - coming out at around $870

So you're paying $520 for a GPU, which is the actual retail price of a 3060. Which, in this day and age, makes it a pretty amazing deal.

  • Hi Virco - can I ask what model of 3070 you will be including?

Last week, you mentioned the ROG STRIX. If so, that's an insane price for the build.

Or at least a premium 3 fan variant.

    TIA.

Most likely to be the cards below:
      * MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ventus 2X OC 8GB Video Card
      * MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Gaming X Trio 8GB Video Card
      * MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Suprim X 8GB Video Card
      * ASUS GeForce RTX 3070 ROG STRIX OC 8GB Video Card
      * GALAX GeForce RTX 3070 1-Click OC 8GB Video Card

      • How about for the 3060? Is there anyway of asking nicely for a particular brand? :)

        • +3

Most likely to be the cards below:
          * MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X OC 12GB Video Card
          * ASUS GeForce RTX 3060 Dual 12GB Video Card
          * EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC GAMING 12GB Video Card

it's really depends on how much upgrade you have choose, to be fair, we also try to survive here. :)

      • I see MSI has opted for the "flood the market will bullshit samey options" sales tactic.

  • Virco vs. Techfast,

    Who would win?

What cpu fan will be used for the i7 build?

    • +1

      original Intel stock Fan

  • -6

Good price, makes a lot more sense than the joke deal the other day

  • +2

Yikes, 3200Mhz CL22 is extremely low end RAM. I'd recommend anyone buying one of these systems at least pays the $20 to upgrade to 3200Mhz CL16.

    • I had the same instinct, and definitely applicable to the ryzen/3070 deal, but will it matter for the i7 with a b460m which is restricted to 2933mhz? I don't know enough about ram timings. Still, for $20 may as well upgrade.

      • +1

2933 CL16 is much better than 2933 CL22. I'm not sure whether this specific board supports it but on some B460s you will also be able to manually tighten timings. The CL22 kit probably won't handle this very well whereas I'd expect a 3200 CL16 kit to do 2933 CL15 if the settings are available to you.

Waiting for 3080ti which locked from mining

  • Will the upgraded Ram and NVME SSD in the 3070 build be the same brand (Kingston) as that in the base build?

    • yes, all Kingston, we love Kingston, most stable flash ever.

      • +2

Hi Virco, once you make upgrades to the 3070 deal, there is no discount code option at checkout. There is only one when you do not make any upgrades

        • if you are talking about P527a system, its not include in the VIRCO-OZB-APR deal.

          • +1

@virco: i am talking about p427a, the one in this thread. Not working for me when trying to purchase.

            • +1

@ShimShiminy: There is no option to even put in a discount code, but there is when you do not upgrade any parts. Strange!

              • @ShimShiminy: yes, that's strange. We are working on that at moment.

Please proceed with the order, if we can't get this bug fixed, we can refund you with $230 difference (worth of the code)

                Sorry about the trouble.

                • +1

                  @virco: bug fixed!!

                  can works now

                  • @virco: Now saying enter a valid discount code. Definitely on the right build and right discount code :(

                    • @ShimShiminy: works over here…

try to close the browser and try again.

if still doesn't work, its ok, please proceed with the order, we can the the refund to you of $230 after that. don't worry.

                      • @virco: I am having the same issue on the P427a system with $530 worth of upgrades.

                        • @luztra: Same with the PX26i with a few upgrades

                          • @Laplace: same

                            • +1

@Autoxbox: for those people that coupon code doesn't work, but already put through the order, we will refund $230 by tonight.

Currently P427a already sold out. Thank you for the support.

                              • @virco: Ok, thank you. Guess I saved myself $2400.

                          • @Laplace: I was waiting for a fix on the discount code and now it says the deal is sold out….

                            • +2

@Jetsom: Same over here! Should of just bought it and got refunded. Hoping for a deal on p527a now..

  • Hi, would it be possible to purchase and pick up from the store today?

    • +1

      yes

      • +4

        failed to be funny :)

  • Is there any option to change the case?

    • sorry, can't change case for PX26i or P427a

  • Does the code work with the 3060ti build?

Also is it possible to request it unbuilt and just parts in original boxes?

    • the code is only for PX26i or P427a

yes, un-assemble is possible, need to plus additional $10 for the freight for the additional original boxes. Please requst the assemble in the email

  • Damn, kicking myself for getting the A447A. Why was that one so much more expensive? Not complaining but I'd genuinely like to find out. Still love my setup though!

    • We have received support from vendor for the system of PX26i & P427a.

    Buy this or bitcoin.

    • Do you want more money or less?

      • Yes

    • Buy this to mine eth and then covert to btc

      • Is this profitable?

        • If you have solar panel I think so.

    • Get on Doge brahh

      • Doge is crazy yoo! Too bad I didn't get on it. Haha

  • Any plans for 11400f?

    • not for now

  • Bought an i7/3060 (with a few choice upgrades). Thanks OP. First gaming PC i'll be putting together in over 10 years! Looking forward to getting back into it (bought it on the work credit card).
Now I can use it to mine Eth during the day

    • +2

Your work is paying for this?

      • :) You mean the dole? :P

  • +3

The 3070 system P427a is sold out :(

  • Any chance for a deal with a 3070 and a CPU with onboard graphics? Possibly the 10400 that you sell?

    • +2

Sorry, what's the point in having onboard graphics when you already have a a gpu? Fairly new to this pls don't neg

      • +1

Troubleshooting. An extra $50 for an iGPU is worth it when your PC won't boot and you're removing components to figure out what's faulty.

  • Thanks OP. Bought the PX26i system with a few upgrades.

    Finally upgrading my Rx480.

  • Impressed by the post including dispatch times.

  • Is the 3060 deal sold out?? Noooooooooooo

  • +1

Any kind of deal possible beyond current price on the p527a?

    • +1

I am in the same boat, missed out on p427a and will pull the trigger on this one if there is a possible deal.

      • +2

Just priced it on PC Part Picker and it seems the P527a isn’t amazingly priced at this point.

        • Agree.

  • +1

Damn that was a nice 3060 deal was gonna recommend it to some people but it sold out damn fast.

  • +2

There are some ppl listing their RTX 3070 for $1700 on marketplace.

    • That always works, til you eventually get burned.

It's confusing, you think if you're using Marketplace you'd know how to google and find these days and just buy the system yourself.

      • Doesnt stop them from listing for it though. Just saw one this morning lol

  • +3

Damn just missed out! When will this 3060 deal return? Any chance of a similar deal with 3060 ti?

    cheers

    • +1 to this :(

  • Far out. I’ve been looking for a PC for so long now and this would’ve been perfect.
