I still have a whole stack of free ones from Woolies.

Should I wait until Spring to plant them?

Your woolies one? It will depend what seeds you have.

My neighbor is a big time gardener. Grows everything from chillies, to tomatoes, to all this different citrus and other vegetables. She said the Woolworths ones are good to teach kids about them, but they’re basically rubbish. She was telling me that if you get good seeds, they’ll grow and continually regrow

if you let them go to seed you mean?

  • how long are the seeds good for? I think most of us should be planting these in spring?

    • At least a year I'd think… Unless they are clearing out old seeds.

Most that I buy are usually good for a couple of years.

They can last a few years as long as they are stored correctly. I send them in a foil lined pack to keep them fresh. thanks, Bec

      • I find if you keep them for more than 2 years, a lot less seeds germinate.

  • At first I'm looking at this and going 'seeds are like $1-2 at bunnings, then i saw you do like 'April' packs and stuff, soooo your free shipping won me over for that as I'm just starting my home garden and have nfi what to plant in what season :)

    • Thank you Brent for supporting my small business! I have loads of season pack for veg, flower etc…the April pack will get you started…. warning though… it's addictive! :) Thanks again, Bec

  • Why is WA and NT excluded?
Is this to do with delivery or some border control issues bringing in seeds?

    • Sorry yes quarantine won't allow the seeds to go in to WA/NT from Tas, thanks, Bec

  • Got some :)
