      Dam, u beet mi… :-P

  • The photo on your link shows controls on the cable - is this the Bose MIE2 or is that not the correct photo for the product on sale?

    • It doesn't have the inline controls on the cable. This is the IE2 and not the MIE2, sorry for the confusion (pic removed).

"one of the most well reknowed earphones you can get."

    What?!?!

    • It's ok…he meant renowned…

    • eekk. heat is frying my brain today.

"This merchant only accepts instant payments. To continue with this purchase, please link a credit or debit card to your PayPal account" - Paypal.

That's a fail from me. (But no neg, since I think the bargain is good and would have liked to purchase one). Pity :( Rep can contact me if you accept bank transfers or change to accept PayPal bank transfers.

    • +1

Sorry, but with a daily deals site (sale open for 24 hours) we can only do instant transfers which is quite the norm with ecommerce retailers.

      • With Paypal, are Bank Transfers not instant?

        • +1

According to Paypal it doesn't count as instant payments. Money takes time to transfer from your Bank account.

    • +4

In todays day and age its reasonably assumed that all online shoppers have credit cards, or debit mastercards/visas. Most major banks issue them free with transaction accounts.

Damn, I need one that has a mic for my phone. Damn!

  • Awesome…. Getting these…

  • Good deal. You hardly see prices like this for Australian stock!

  • so whats the retail price of these in other country's?

I see these at the local carabbean markets for $40-50, alongside beats by dre headphones all under $100.. they are not real, but it places uncertainty in the marketplace about whats real or not,

    • So buy from trusted seller like DealFox!

    • +1

We only deal with genuine stock. Our company history and background described in the post if people wish to investigate further.

Sounds like they're a good buy if you don't like the canal type earphones. A comparable canal phone will give a much better sound though due to the isolation.

    • Yuin's instead? Though they have a really plain look compared to these.

I have Dr Dre Beats in-ear headphones which I can't wear because they are too uncomfortable. I can't really tell from the pictures, but are these the same type as the Dr.Dre where they end up touching your brain?

    • +3

where they end up touching your brain?

      what

      • +1

        just smile and nod

    • +1

No, looks like they aren't canalphones. They're an earbud style similar to the stock Apple earbuds.

      • +1

These are still in-ear style headphones. The driver funnels sound inside the ear canal.
Generic Apple headphones are precisely called "buds" because they don't penetrate the ear canal, and the sound naturally escapes and allows background interference.

So they're basically a hybrid; in-ear, earbud headphones and hence have some passive noise cancellation. The soft plastic retention clip basically serves to an audio baffle to cover a larger portion of your ear canal to stop sound bleeding/interfering.

        • Thanks I found the Dr. Dre's hurt my ears way too much and I kind of have difficulties breathing properly with them in. The tips are very long though, while these Bose don't look anywhere near as long as the Dre's.

        • Thanks for clearing that up Amar89

You can find the same for $85 + FREE Shipping on ebay - Australian seller! I don't understand how is this deal so special?!

  • Wish you have mie2i deal.. This one does not have mic and volume control on it…

  • Kind of torn… I'm a biased Bose fan. But can anyone recommend better headphones around this price range?

    • Never heard of these before, heard Bose at the airport before, wasn't impressed, but wasn't disappointed.. just their price point can be a bit lower.

    • Maybe UE700 when on sale at LTS for $99. Or maybe MEElectronics CC51 - http://www.meelec.com/category_s/345.htm

      Or have a look here - http://www.head-fi.org/t/478568/multi-iem-review-214-iems-co…

    • If you were interested in spending more($245) you can try the Bang & Olufsen A8 heaphones. stylish, expensive but pretty good sound! i upgraded from the Bose(similar to this thread) and am pretty impressed, the ear clip is good too. Awesome sound and it had some bass. but as i said, expensive!!

  • I purchased the MIE2 version in HK when I was on the market for great set of ear canal headphones to be used with my apple shuffle. I don't normally like bose products but this earphone blew me away in terms of sound quality, good bass (just right), comfortable on the ears (snug fit), great for when I do runs/sprints since they don't fall out of my ears and added ipod controls on the go. Only thing I disliked was the black/white colour of the cords.

You wont be disappointed with a set of these!

  • I own these and some "a-jays four", love both. In my research, they do not get rated by the audiophiles, however they sit in the ear comfortably and produce a nice clean sound. My a-jays are the bargain for me, $50 some time ago here from mymemory.uk, only slight downside is heavy cable, however it is tangle free and rugged…

so tempted but I swore I wouldnt buy earphones untested again as I got a pile now of good phones but the sounds just isnt want I am looking for. Really got to test before buy……but so tempted

    • Hahaha, so you got sucked into the cycle of buying a lot of audio products in the search for the golden one for your ears hey?

    • What are you looking for bargrin? What have you tried? Just interested to know!

@cwongtech - what phones are you using these days? :)

      • I'm on my second replacement pair of Sennheiser HD228s (originally from mymemory.co.uk, second replacement by Sennheiser Australia, free of charge, mymemory pair and first pair were both screwed from cable-death)
Strange thing is, the 2nd replacement pair is different to the mymemory and first replacement pair..
It sounds different, must be a different factory or something, it has a slight talking(singing)-while-pinching-the-nose effect. I liked the old pairs better :(
Even with the Asteriod mod (removal of foam pad), it's sound quality isn't as good as the mymemory.co.uk pair + first replacement pair by Sennheiser Australia.

To get replacements, just post on the Sennheiser Australia wall :D

Also on the Feels Pro 9000, with cable death as well -_- going to send them back when I get the chance to.

  • Just got mine delivered this morning yahoo! Super fast delivery

    • can you let us know what the bass is like? some reviews are saying it's not that great.

      • How much bass is very subjective.

    • thanks got it from this link !

  • Ever since I bought Bose earphones 20 yrs ago, never needed to buy another pair. Lifetime guarantee honored when after being knocked around (TONKA test lots) a wire came loose. Like the idea of these ones, however would rather buy from shopfront store.

    • Didn't know Bose is lifetime warranty. As long as you are buying from a Bose reseller, you can easily contact Bose directly for warranty service. Bose provides excellent customer support and comparable to companies like Dyson.

  • Just wondering if the Bose IE2 is in stock again as shown in dealfox website?
