SAVE1015 is the correct code according to comments in a Facebook ad.

    • +2

      Yep that worked.

    • +1

How odd! Literally all of their graphics are wrong 😂

      • +2

Yep including the Facebook ad. Guess the IT guy didn't get the updated memo.

  • +11

    After Dark Sale

Good Guys now sell adult toys ???

    • +6

Those would be excluded from the sale, like most things

    • +2

      Yes fridges.

    • +2

      Yes, they do.

  • CODE working now? isn't it 6 already?

    • +1

      Codes not working for me.

      • +2

The IT guy is having trouble

    • The working code is SAVE1015.

  • +4

The t&c page seems to only link to the Zippay deal - the 10-15% off links to the same doc
Also, can't seem to get the code to work on anything
Update: there is a T&C doc with the worlds longest list of exclusions 😂 TGG, you've outdone yourselves

    • +2

Not working on an item thats not on the list. e.g. Sony XM4

      • +2

        Annoying, right?!

      • +1

        Actually it works-$313.55
        Code is SAVE1015

        • Yep. Got one + $20 cashback so $293
I also had a cashback offer on my CBA MasterCard spend $100 get $20 back. Pitty it ends in the morning otherwise would have gone to the store and got a gift card with my MasterCard and saved another $20 haha

          • @itsme56: That code is cr or SB approved? Wondering if they will pay in the end.

  • +5

Same here. The code doesn’t work. I’ve tried on Tvs , fridges but no luck. The offer appears on the item but doesn’t work in cart.

  • +8

That's one hell of an exclusion list. Maybe an inclusion list would be smaller.

  • Yeah, code still no good. Lol

  • You could almost certainly do better than 10% by going in store and talking to a sales person. My chest freezer died on Easter Saturday. Found a Hisense 280L upright freezer at TGG for $999, or at TGG Commercial for $839. Went to local store store, spoke with salesman - he had one in stock, and offered it for $820 (after I told him about the Commercial price) with a $55 delivery the following day on Easter Sunday - done deal, it was delivered at 9:15am on Sunday. He basically gave me 18% discount.

    • also if you happen to have some 10-15% gift card on hand, it is even sweeter.
unless you are spend close to $112, with 10% ($100.x) and zip discount, you pay $80.x. which is around 29% off

      • +1

Where does one get said 10-15% Gift Card from? Best I can do is 5% off from Suncorp.

        • +2

Normally you will need to stock them, they are not there anytime when you need them. For example, when zip was doing 10% cashback, you could stock some. This week Woolies is having $100 ultimate home gift card (can be used at TGG, also jb) get 2000 pts (worth $10). That is 9% save if you shop at Woolies. Just remember these card can only be used instore. For some really good deals, it could go higher than 10%.

I think I have some card during last Christmas gift card hyper, 10% cashback on top of 9% saving. That's around 18% saving.

  • Still not working?

  • Anything good to buy above $100 ?

  • Nvidia shield is now a special order. I don't remember it being one before this sale.

  • Thanks OP! The Barista Express at $619 is okay, but a CommBank rewards of another $50 back is the cherry on top for the buy! Not to mention the $100 store credit and the Mother's Day bonus redemption pack

  • Any deal.on Apple watch ?

    • No Apple deals.

  • Can I buy $100 gift card, pay via zip and get $20 back? Anyone tried?

    • No excludes gift cards.

      • +1

I think he is talking about without the code, the code has gift card excluded, but for the zip deal I can't find the it in the T&C. Maybe it works. But nobody can tell, cos the cashback is not instant, take upto 7 days

    • Their e-gift cards are invoiced/processed by a 3rd party. So it won’t work. In store you might be able to with zip visa. But the deal finishes before stores open.

      • yes it would work in store i reckon by tap and pay with zip . i did for a past target promo got gift card instore and got $20. shame this promo is at night when no stores are open.

  • +1

    shocking promo.

have applied the code, says valid but doesn't take any money off.

when i clear the cart and try again it says code already entered.

    • Meaning that item is ineligible

      • +2

based on the terms and conditions it should be eligible.

    • +1

Some items say the 15% off is available. You apply the SAVE1015 in the cart and it takes off 15%.
Other items say the price is already inclusive of the discount.
Yet others say the 15% off is available. you apply it and it says it has applied successfully. But the price doesnt change.
I wish TGG would fix their website.

  • Doesn’t work for nvidia shield pro

    • It said the code applied to it when I was on the page.

    • +1

Use SAVE1015 to get the NSP for $296.65.

    • +1

      OK. thanks works now.

  • Code certainly not working, at least not for me. Website shows the code and when I enter the code, it comes up with The promo code you have entered is invalid. Please verify the code and try again

    • +1

      It's SAVE1015 not SALE1015

      • Thanks, it worked.

  • I used SAVE1015 code as mentioned above, loaded up the cart with a couple of TCL40S615 tv's for the kids that were already on sale for $380, checked out with local store pickup and Paypal and it appears to have gone through. Don't forget to stack with Cashrewards 4% off.

    • Why not zip for another 20 saving

  • +2

Works on Sonos products-15% off. Good for those who don’t have access to UNiDAYS account.

    • Yeah I bit the bullet and got a Sub lol

      • Me too - I've been holding back on getting a Sub and this sealed the deal :)

        • The real question is… White or black?

          • @Menzoberranzan: strange question
depends on your set up and style
im still holding out for low 700s but
i will go white cause my tv unit is white gloss
beam and ones are black tho
            mixing it up

  • +1

Excellent. That knocked the Galaxy A52 (5G/256GB version) down from $749 to $674.10. Then used 5% off discount gift cards to make the out of pocket cost under $646, and should be able to claim the Galaxy Buds Live. So assuming the buds are worth around $150 (ignoring the RRP) then I reckon under $500 for a semi decent mid range mobile isn't too bad. My Galaxy S9 is having issues so this should tide me over until the S21FE turns up sometime. [Oh, and just got a message saying that $7.66 was tracked via Shopback so there's another bonus…. :-) ]

    • You almost had it. Needed to just look at CR and see that their rate was higher haha.

    • This code is not approved by shopback I think. Wondering if they are going to pay

  • +1

    Got Sony XM4 for $293~

  • Picked up the Essenza Mini & Milk Frother for $168 (if cash back is approved). Not bad considering I was going to wait for the LatitudePay promo with the $50 off but this one worked out even cheaper.

    • Any reason you not choose Nespresso DeLonghi Vertuo Plus Bundle ?
299 on ticket, 254.15 with code, 234.15 pay via zip. 134.15 cashback from Nespresso. +20 store credit Pickup. Assume no cashback.

      • The Vertuo machines will only take the pods from Nespresso and that’s a pain. My wife prefers the freedom of buying other pods when she feels like them.

        • Good point, never own a pod machine, thinking of getting one.

          • @ce5himm: Our first pod machine also. This one seems decently reviewed for a good price and quite compact so it ticked all the boxes.

        • Also which one is better, DeLonghi or Breville?

          • @ce5himm: Not sure TBH but I see a lot more of the DeLonghi machines around.

            • @ElectrkJonesy777: And seems DeLonghi version normally more expensive than Breville. Thanks still searching

            • @ElectrkJonesy777: Brought the white mini and frother bundle 132.15 (hopefully $20 from zip) and bonus $20 store credit for pickup.
It's cheaper than the black one, maybe people don't like white. Hope my wife don't brother. Lol

              • @ce5himm: Yeah the white has always seemed to be cheaper which is unfortunate because we really dislike white appliances so I was happy to pay the premium for the black.

                • @ElectrkJonesy777: Actually for some reason(glitch?), I got double cashback from zip. Make it 112.15. guess no complaint of white from wife. Lol it's a mother's Day gift

  • Damn… picked up a Barista Pro for 5% (usually 3%) cashback from ShopBack yesterday!

  • +1

    Thanks OP.

Got Moto G10 for my old man. Listed as $249, with discount, gift cards and CR down to ~$209.

  • Anyone know how to do a search that lists all items for sale so that I can do a sort by price? Want to get a Google Chromecast and obviously want to take advantage of 15% and then $20 off using Zip.

    • +1

Not sure how to do this on their website. But you can try pricehipster.com to sort by price!

  • Is there any confirmation you're supposed to receive for the $20 back when you pay by zip? I did it but it didn't say anything about it anywhere

    • +1

T&C’s say within 7 days of your order being processed the $20 will be credited back to your account.

      • Thanks mate, sorry must have missed that!

        • Seems like it credit back straight away for me

          • @ce5himm: Mine has also been credited back overnight but it wasn't immediately but an email from TGG did come through saying my order is being processed so it may have been applied after that.

  • can you use zip on TGG Commercial or just credit card?

  • No Apple 🍎?!?

  • Hey everyone, I have a question regarding Zip Pay.

I've never used it and just made an account to take advantage of this ZipPay-GoodGuys promo. My question is, 'am I able to pay off my Zip Pay balance in 1 lump sum'? I want to avoid any fees, and the like.

    Thanks all

    • Sure you can.

      • Apologies for this question as I'm new to this - can you explain to me how I can do that? Would it be under "Custom Schedule"?

        • +1

Looks like they've made some change to the app. There is an option Never pay fees, under change my schedule
I think you just need to choose that, and they will direct debit from your bank card every month it needs to be done. It's much easier than before.

          • @ce5himm: I'd like to just pay the whole balance off, and close the account. It sounds like that's not possible.

            • @jasecutler: Keep the account only for promo. That's what I do, they don't charge you anything if you don't owe them. You never know when will next promo come.

  • They are rerunning this sale again tonight due to the code issue yesterday.

    • will that zip promo back on tonight as well? any words?

  • just a quick note, if you had an issue last night or just missed the sale call the sales phone number on the website.

i called earlier and told them that the code wouldn't work and they generated a sale for me, applied the discount and sent me a text to pay the rest. whilst the online sale was pretty rubbish i was impressed with the phone assistance today.

not to work out how to add about 10 different concierge credits to the online portal…

  • +1

No idea what happened with my order but I received the correct discount at checkout but I have just received the following email:

Thank you for your recent online purchase placed during our After Dark Sale.

Upon review, we have noticed that the promotional discount code provided was not applied successfully. This email is to advise you that we have issued the difference with the below store credit.

    $29.20

    No complaints here!!

    • Same, will be curious to see if the discount is allowed twice. My invoice doesn't show the discount so maybe that's the error?

  • Too bad zip promo is limited to once per account. If you are spend over 400, then just ignore zip, minimum 5% gc is better.

    • Or if they consider yesterday and today are 2 promotions, maybe it will work again.
