    Wow great value.

    Can't add to cart.

I get the message below, I don't think there is any stock available. Using Sydney postcodes.

"The stock is not sufficient in your postcode for standard delivery."

  • +1

Seems pretty alright. Approx $3k to buy individual parts on my calculations

    • +2

Depending on the model, the 3080 alone is nearly the entire (on sale) price of this PC

  • +5

Just read the spec and it's gone.,.,., wtf

  • Thanks mate

  • Best deal ever if you got it

  • What a deal - missed it

  • Not sure why I get the email alert 10 minutes after the deal is posted.

  • Great deal!

  • -7

Thats gotta be an error did anyone get one?

  • Whats everyones opinion on the system tho ?

    • There's a review here
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-yIrfypGUY

I only watched bits of the review but it looks like a pretty solid system with no glaring issues.

    • Etc 3080 can be sold at $2500, you effectively get the rest of system for free. If you can get it.

  • +3

Weird looking case, looks like its made for CBA

  • Great Deal - Sad missed it

    Missed this unicorn.

    Thanks anyway OP

  • Missed it.

    Why why why!

  • +2

I don’t like HP Omen anymore… first my order for this got cancelled and now I miss out on this

  • +2

Aaaah Omen again, will this be another pricing error? Soon you'll get email advising about it? Good ol memory.

  • Weren't the Dell deal better value? Under $2K.

    • This should be available faster, has better thermals and uses mostly off the shelf components that will be user upgrade-able.

    • What dell deal? This has a 3080 so if you can get a 3080 from anywhere for sub 2k grab it and run.

        My bad, that was 3070.
Isn't 3070 enough? Which games would require 3080 to run smoothly?

        • +1

          40% better in mining

        • -1

Also what are you talking about gaming performance? I am using aw3821dw, sub 4K 144hz, 3070 can’t even run most aaa games with ultra setting stably at 60hz

          • @rainbowyen: I’ve got Vega 64, and it seems to run most games OK on 1440p.
I imagine 3070 would be a good improvement.
3080 would be need for 4K?
            Most games aren’t native 4K?

            • +1

@congo: With 3070 3080 apart from gaming.u can do mining to recover the electricity fee for u gaming and also buy some games free with that money?isn't it exciting?

              • @Leooooooo: Is the fan sufficient for mining or would an extra fan be recommended?

        • Its more for high refresh rate 1440p or stable 4k gaming.

          • -2

@XiTaU: That’s on point, what I am saying is not a thing call “enough”, gamers are greedy

            • @rainbowyen: So many haters. It's true.

I'm also using an AW3821DW and the 3070 can barely hit the max refresh rate on some older AAA titles. It won't be enough for future AAA games.

  • Another likely pricing error from our friends at HP. At least they didn't allow 100's of unfillable orders like last time

  • +7

I checked HP yesterday and these desktops were already out of stock. Nobody should be feeling like they have missed out on anything.

    • Someone above said he snatch one?

      • +3

Yeah sure… I checked at ~9:45pm before going to bed. I saw the flash sale banner but didn't bother as the 3080 models were out of stock.
Unless they put a few PCs in stock during the sale which i doubt.

    • This deal stated 23.58 yesterday

    • Interesting if thats the case, meaning there wasn't enough stock to begin with. Hence not really a deal?

  • damn, that went quick :(

  • OZBargained again!

    • edit. I just spoke to online chat, they will be getting new stock, but won't do a back order.

      • +4

I also spoke with them and they said they won't be getting any during the promotional period.

  • +4

Impressive amount of upvotes for an item that only had less than 5 skus.

  • Good deal. Keep these coming.

  • No way! Can’t believe I missed it, exactly what I was after.

  • Link says 3070…

    • Interesting.. in the pictures it says 3070 but in the specs it says 3080

      • Huston, we have a problem

  • Sigh… I'll never win in life.

  • +1

https://store.hp.com/au-en/default/desktops/hp-pavilion-gami… is a pretty good entry/mid gaming box if it didnt have 1x 16gb 2666 ram. Either way 2060's are selling currently for ~$800 and cpu is around ~$500.

    • only 2 rams slots wtf?

      • The problem wouldn't be only 2 ram slots but rather it's configured as 1x16gb. I haven't used 4 slots of ram in years….

        • I maxed up my ram slot on my previous PC. 4gbx4 = 16gb

On my current PC it currently has 2x16gb = 32gb

          • @Homr: If you need more than 32gb, then this system isn't for you anyway.

  • +4

    Did anyone actually snag one?

Worth it alone for the 3080.

    • I saw a brand new one on eBay… so someone got one.

  • It's back, but now at $4,499 instead
