  • I have one tile in my wallet, one on my keys, and one attached to my opal card. Tile has saved me countless hours of searching the house for misplaced items.

Why are these things and the other AirTags deal so popular? Do Aussies loose things really easily?

if you put it inside a bag, can it alert you if your bag is taken away by a theft?

    • I would like to know this too

seems like $20 worthless plastic now that AirTags are here.

Great for android users, but the beacon/finding network on these will be dwarfed compared to Find my Network

    • How often do you plan to need to rely on the beacon/finding network?

  • To find keys I understand but to find my phone, I ask my wife to give a call to my phone and listen.

  • Huh, shopping cart only giving me the discount off one. Can I redeem this in store several times?

ADHDer here so I need like 100 of these but just 3 will do.

People are going on about how useless these are since AirTag is here, but seriously how often have you lost something this is attached to in a completely random location where you need Apple's network vs local bluetooth. I use Mates on all my keys, and every time I've had to find one, it's been somewhere in my home.

Not going to question that the AirTag is the superior product, but it's also the more expensive one, for functionality that will probably extremely rarely be used.

  • I feel sorry for Tile, using their market dominance Apple will profit from Tile's stolen idea.

    • +1

Don't. Tile is not a bullied kid - it's a huge establishment and they must've had contingency plans for this case for ages.

Not sure if you mean "Tile stole the idea from somewhere" or "Apple stole it from Tile", but it's like saying someone has stolen an idea for a wheel.

  • Why Samsung smart tags not available on Samsung Australia website yet?

I think they are better than Airtags for Android users atleast.

Had few of these new, old, pro, slim ect they dont really work you have to force the app to stay open and even when it does it wont find then stuff unless you walk around with your phone.

Also the button on this goes off in your pocket multiple times a day and tries to ring your phone.

    Using it with samsuns s10.

  • Reviews from users on Amazon not that good.

  • I am a bit confused with all these comments.
Could someone confirm does it work with my iphone8?

    Thank you.

    • Yes.

The app requires iOS 13 so basically1 iPhone 6s and up.

      1. While the iPhone 5S and iPhone SE are compatible with the Tile app, the screen size is unofficially supported. This means there may be visual flaws on-screen but the app will retain all proper functionalities.
