  • Nice price/deal. Thanks for posting.

Curious though for those in the know, I'm a little out of the loop on specs. How does this compare build quality wise to this Acer? https://www.centrecom.com.au/acer-nitro-156-fhd-i5-10300h-gt…

    TIA!

    • That acer one is $923 on Scorptec eBay. I recently purchased it for $873 (with the 15% off code).

I am not sure about the build quality (acer is said to have good build quality), however the acer has a 60hz screen vs this MSI having a 144hz screen. On the other hand, the acer comes with a 1650 gti I believe over the 1650 in this.

I suggest you go into a store and see how the acer feels, it is quite sturdy for the price.

    • MSI all the way man. Acer is pretty ok too but really depends on your luck.

  • The deal is pretty good, but a Max-Q version of the 1650?

    • In laptops, they are always lower-powered versions.

      • Max-Q means its the lowest power version of the low-powered versions

  • +1

Should be a law against building a gaming laptop and putting a 1650 into it.

  • Nice laptop if you don't care about battery life.
