that's some big power in a small package!! I wonder how the thermals will be (maybe good for a heater in winter)

    • I built a pc using this case with 13600kf and 4070 super last year. Has been a good heater in the room even with GPU idle (CPU can easily go 90+ degrees). CPU stays around 50 degrees with side panels removed.
I personally would not recommend putting a 7800x3d into this case.

      • ouch. Glad I went with the A4-H2O for my wifes ITX build. Her 9800x3d can still hit 90 when stress testing, but doesnt get that high while gaming. GPU is a 9700xt and stays quite cool.

nr200p here, 7800x3D and 4080. full AAA gaming, cpu is like 66c, gpu is like 59c with ambient 25c. 280AIO arctic liquid freezer. all nocturnal fans with noise priority settings ( wont go over 1300RPM)

  • What a beautiful build. If i didnt have such a niche interest in the Formd T1 case iโ€™d snap on this deal in a heartbeat

    • Same, would love a Formd T1 to retire my 6 year old QBX

When my dad bought a computer in 1995, it cost around the same if not more.

Maxsun? What is that mobo vendor?

    • +1

Been in the market since 2002 and have made motherboards since 2007. I don't think they had a proper distributor here in Aus until recently, but most PC component stores sell them now. They're generally seen as 'fine' but don't have BIOS updates as regularly as the major brands.

  • Yeah not sure I like it for the money and the upgrade path for a gigabyte mobo is an extra 400…

  • I didn't intend to buy a computer today… but ended up with the Oakridge X (7800X3D / RTX 5070 Ti) build, with a slightly upgraded motherboard. I was surprised at the quality of the included parts in the default options actually… plus that walnut case sold me.

I wish there was a non-RGB version of that case though!

  • Are these systems eligible for the free Doom giveaway?

    • +1

      Hi yes they do.

  • Do the https://www.galapower.com.au/product/oakridge-y/ and https://www.galapower.com.au/product/apex-dominator-2/ come with the RGB case fans as illustrated or are they just that i.e. for illustration purposes only?

    • +2

Hi they will come with the RGB fans as you can see in the photo.

      • Awesome, just purchased an oakridge-y 9800X3D/5080 system with some modifications.

  • why is it shaped like that??

nvm it just looks really cool. shaped like a office building. I would buy it just because looks so cool.

  • Any discount on a non 3d version of this?
