Tactix 310mm 22 Compartment Organiser Storage Box $4.98 @ Bunnings Warehouse

470

Was searching for a Lego storage box and find this, maybe its normal price but still good price and seems like a great organiser for lego, you can also remove the divider inside the box to store large lego bricks.

Available in two sizes

Durable sturdy latches
Heavy duty carry handle
Removable tabs
Ideal for storing nuts, bolts, nails, screws, staples and other items, Tactix's compartment storage cases are a great addition for any office or garage.

Also available in bigger size for $8.20 https://www.bunnings.com.au/tactix-380mm-22-compartment-orga…

I was using a few of these $7 ones from kmart for my nanoblocks, which appears to be the same size of the larger one you've linked, in case that suits anyone better. It was getting too hard to manage as i got more and more bricks so have since upgraded to compartment drawers :)

    • Is the lid flat? Hard to tell from the picture.

        No, has ridges

Those ones are cheaper at Supercheap surprisingly, though seems they've gone up a buck. Got a couple for free with one of their $10 promos a while back.

  • Thanks op got 2 good price .

Reposting part of my unpublished comment from above.

These are great organisers. I have a couple out in the shed holding electronic components.

I haven't tried lego in these ones, but I have used other organisers with lego. In some of the cheaper ones small studs and tiles tend to slide under the divider into the neighbouring cell.

Not a deal. Everyday price since nerds discovered DnD

      Discovered it? Nerds invented D&D…

    normal price?

These are great for sorting, but actually very hard to retrieve small parts from. Unless you remove dividers to make each compartment bigger. And my fingers are small.

    • Buy tweezers and put it in the box.

I'd argue this isn't a deal too, just the everyday normal price. The build quality is quite average; if you are keeping it on a shelf storing Lego that will be okay but the latches are flimsy and the plastic is thin and can break easily. It's a $5 plastic box though, cheap but not worth more than that in my opinion.

  • normal price, been this price forever.

  • Ordered 1 of each. Should be good for my coin collection.

  • Anyone knows if this is good for gloomhaven standees?

Currently throwing them all in a butter cookie container

I use similar ones from Bunnings for $4 called Montgomery Storage Box, which I use for board game tokens but I haven’t got Gloomhaven. I do own Jaws of the Lion and I could easily see the standees being stored in the ones I buy.

  • Where can I find some of these with removable tray compartments though? Dividers suck.

  • got 2, one for screws and materials and 1 for my fishing tackle thanks op
