Return for Free Fares between The Brisbane City and The Airport on The Brisbane Airtrain $19.50 (Save $19.50).

Might be a cheap option to get to the CBD to go with the cheap domestic flights. If you're travelling with a family (~4 people) it might be cheaper/similar to share a cab.

  Good deal. I used the Airtrain on the weekend after being bumped off standby flight on Saturday Arvo and thought it was a great service. Only got charged $56 for 2 x adults return which i thought was a good price at the time but $39 would have been much better!

  I've used the Airtrain twice and found it's pretty good to get between the CBD and airport. I agree that if you have more than a couple of people it's better value to get a cab or Uber instead, even at half price.

  Otherwise take a bus to Skygate and take a free electric shuttle to the airport!

    $4.11 CBD - Airport is most you pay that way using Gocard. (FREE for QLD Seniors using Seniors Gocard!)

    Limited Stops 590 Bus (Garden City - Skygate - Toombul) is a very handy service. Drops off at Airport Shuttle stop.

      Terminal Bus runs every 30 min from 6.30 to 6, before and after that there's shuttle from Novotel to terminals for only $6pp.

      Of course it's up to you to decide if saving $9 is worth the hassle.

        Not everyone travels from the CBD, or lives near the AirTrain route. So that means other transport hassles & costs. People should consider their own options.

        I catch the 590 bus as is convenient (10km to airtrain, bus stop is 5min walk), time & cost effective.
        First Bus leaves Garden City 5:30am - arriving before first shuttle.

        Saves a lot more than $9!! (Maximum bus fare is less than the Gateway toll charge, & much less than other alternatives.)

          But this offer is about transfer from CBD to airports.

            Offer is for BNE Airport, to/from Brisbane - not only CBD stations.
            What's Gold Coast got to do with this Deal? (I'm 20k from BNE Airport.)

            To clarify…
            Code for booking a free return ticket is only available for listed stations - not all are CBD, eg Albion.

            If you choose to book another station used by that same train to Brisbane Airport - code is invalid. For example, from my nearest station on line to Airport, the cost is $49 return. (Cheaper to pay fare to & from listed station separately.)

            So if you aren't near those stations & want to travel by train to/from BNE airport with this Deal, you need to add the separate cost & possible inconvenience of that transfer / continuation at a listed station.

            Might be better & cheaper options!

            For me, half the travel distance by bus + shuttle is always a far cheaper & more convenient choice. (And Free for Qld Seniors.)
