  • bought one at $99. Thanks OP! will give it a try. I am getting sick my not working Dyson V6 Annimal. it costed me almost $600. no more Dyson.
How long is the waranty please?

  • $119 Now. Can OP fix it back?

  • Price seems it has increased $119.00 after code applied.

    Not interested in it now

  • The price has just increased to $119

  • Why it charged me $119 AUD?

  • OP can you pls change it back to $99?

  • Why is it showing as $119 when I apply the code?

  • Hi rep
now the price is $20 higher than before !
    not $99 become $119
    can you explain why ?
    thanks

    • +6

      can you explain why ?

      Because the deal is over

      • But why!?!

        • Because the seller has decided it is

  • I guess the $99 sale is over guys..?

  • Ordered - let’s see how it goes.

  • ordered, seems like the reviews on amazon.au are legit so hope it comes with all the bits. it'll be a unit garage/car cleaner so only hard floors and cars. i imagine it'll be fine.

  • +6

OP is it possible to bring the price back to $99? i'm sure there are many of us who are interested. thanks

  • Looking at buying this but have some questions.

The accessory list shows this comes with two brush heads.
    1. Which brush head is meant for carpets?
    2. Is there somewhere to read a digital copy of the manual?

    • deal expired ?

      1. The big one.
      2. Manual for similar model
  • I am a sucker, used the code 38FE9B98CE and just paid the extra $20. $119 is still not a bad price

  • +1

Mine just arrived, got to say the build quality looks good but actual performance is a little disappointing from a suction point of view compared to my Dyson V6. Still for $99.

Interested to know what others think.

    • I should be getting mine in the next day or so, is this on normal power or even on maximum it's still disappointing?

    • Are you comparing suction using the crevice tools or the long wand with motorhead? At 20kpa at max suction, it should be pretty close to most corded vacuums.

    • Hi, How long did it take to arrive please? Is there some way to track delivery if you bought from the same seller as above? Thanks

  • +7

Mine arrived today as well - As per thatsapaddlin; the build quality is pretty nice. The fixtures all fit really well and I'm surprised how easy it is to use. I have a small apartment and I don't need much to clean so it suits me really well. I find the firmer brush works better on carpets even though it's a smaller attachment.

Suction seems good, not overly powerful until you put it on the full mode. Works much better on hard floors than carpet imo.

One thing I really like is I don't have to install the wall attachment to charge it like I thought. The battery comes off and can be charged via just the wall adapter included. Means I can store it away and charge the battery itself a lot easier.

I'd say worth it for $99, not worth it for $299 or whatever the original price was for sure.

    • Thank you, appreciate the feedback

    • Thank you for this.
Just clarifying, it came with a wall attachment/stand?

      • came with wall mount

    • Dude for 99 dollars it's a bargain.

I think though the other Xiaomi vacuums are better suction wise.

And those can be had for 250 ish

So prob 200 wise it's good.

  • +1

Just received mine today. I am charging the battery now and will see how good (the suction is compare to my V6 and V7) and whether the battery will last close to what it claims. I saw thatsapaddlin pointing out the suction is disappointed even compare to a V6 so my hope has dropped significantly. Hope I won't need to return it………..Will update later today

    • +3

I did tried 2 rounds. One with full power and the other is mid power. Full power run close to 9 mins while the mid power runs around 21 mins.

Quality is pretty good except the docking looks and feels somehow cheap and flimsy (If Dyson is 10/10, then this dock is 3/10). OLED display is excellent!! I can now see when the battery is getting low and adjusts from max to mid so I can manage to vacuum the whole floor before battery run flat (which always happen to my Dyson).

IMO, suction is better than my V6 and V7. Sound is not as strong and loud as Dyson so initially I thought it is a piece of crap. However I use my palm to test and I am pretty sure it is better than my USED V6/V7.

Manoeuvre the Trouver Power is far better than my Dyson. I do not have the soft roller for my Dyson so it is hard to directly compare their performance.

Overall, I think Trouver Power is closer with Dyson V8, but I still decide to keep it anyway simply because It costs $99. Let alone the soft roller which come with the vacuum, just to buy a Dyson battery (original one) would costs $80 - $100, and I really like the OLED display. I would say this unit definitely worth $200 mark.

  • +1

The suction is no where powerful in comparison to v7.

As above, I think it's easier to use on hard floor as compared to carpets.

  • Got mine as well. LED screen looks nice. Feels better than it looks. Wall mount is surprisingly handy. Only a small holder for the crevice that attaches to the extension pole. Nothing to hold the mini motor head.

Suction so far is fine for hard floors. Tried it in my car's carpet, where I have short pet hair weaved into it, and it struggled with the mini motor head. Nothing I've owned so far gets this right, so I'm not too upset. Will be keeping it for crevices and odd jobs, while my Xiaomi V1 robovac takes the full brunt of the dust busting needs.

Side note, changed my robovac battery after THREE YEARS of daily cleaning at full speed. It's been a life changer.

    • I find using a rubber brush to lift the pet hair, followed up with a vacuum works well

      • Thanks for the tip. Will grab one next time I'm at Bunnings!

  • Just received mine Trouver Power 11 now from Australia Post.
    Purchased on Monday afternoon.
    Received today (Thursday 13-05-2021) morning.
Very prompt delivery window of just 3 days.
Probably delivery is within Australia (not from China).
No wall mount / floor station included as expected to hold all the accessories.
    @ $99 is worth it.
Awesome vacuum at very good price. Happy…..

    • +2

Are you sure there's no wall mount? Maybe check your packaging as it should be included.

      • -5

It is like a wall hanger to hold the vacuum cleaner; not wall mount.
Wall mount will be able to keep/hold all the accessories in one place like competitor brands.

        • +1

It mounts on the wall, and holds the vacuum with some accessories (not the upholstery brush head) . Lets you charge at the same time. Its very simple, but it's a wall mount

    • +1

Floor mount was said to not be included in the Australian version from the start. Not sure why you were expecting it?

  • Just got mine too. Box was a little banged up but all contents are in order and again like others have said build quality seems very solid. It's on charge at the moment so will see how the suction goes once it's up and running. Will be interesting to see how the roller brush handles carpet.

I think this either combined with a robovac or for use in between "proper" weekly vacuums is good enough for the price. I certainly wouldn't consider it at the full price of $318.01 that the link is now showing.

  • +2

recieved mine today. Suction seems fine for hard floors but struggles with carpet. It has many useful features of the high end models like Dreame t20. The OLED screen is really nice and the finger free operation mode (aka lock) is extremely useful. The swappable battery is also a huge plus.

All in all, great value at $99.99. It’s a perfect vacuum for students on a tight budget and anyone with a small- medium sized apartment with mostly hard floors. For mostly carpet environments, I would recommend going for a vacuum with stronger suction and a motorised carpet head brush i.e. Dreame v11 or t20.

Btw, mine came with a simple wall attachment that allows you to dock and charge it simultaneously. Can’t attach the extra heads on like the Dreame wall attachment, but not a big issue for me

  • +2

I received mine, and agree with pretty much all the previous comments. In summary:
    1. Suction is good but not amazing (max level is good but only ~10 mins)
    2. The soft head is not very good for carpet, although it does include a mini motorised head that works well. I'll see if I can find a Dreame v10 motor head to try with this.
    3. It does actually have a wall mount, although it doesn't have room to hold additional heads. There's a shaft attachment that'll hold one more head, not sure how convenient that is though; the vacuum is actually quite heavy already.

Ultimately I think it's easily worth $100, probably worth $200, questionable at $300.

    • The weight is only 1.45kg.
It is much lighter than my Dyson V10 and V7

      • I have a Dyson DC59 and its barrel section is only 1.24kg. I guess I'm not used to newer vacuums.

      • +2

weight is one thing but balance in something more important

i find this one well balanced

$99 super deal, $149 good deal, $199 normal price, $299 ripoff "RRP" for dummies that dont know ozbargain

RRP means not recommended retail price, it means real ripoff price

        • +1

Yeah, I think if it was 149 there wouldn't be too many complaints, but this is Ozbargain give me my 99 dollar stick vac!

  • Just received mine.

Impressed with the build quality; solid, feels good and everything fits together really nicely.
I see some complaints of the suction power and I don't find its that bad. First tried out using the soft roller brush on carpet and it was underwhelming, then tried the smaller motor brush and it worked pretty well (subsequently read the instructions and the soft brush is only for hard floor, which makes sense). Even managed to pull out some hair and dirt that my corded miele struggled with. So pretty much have to use the smaller head for carpet. I'm guessing the suction would struggle with a larger carpet head which may be why it was made narrower/smaller - this suits me fine as I only have 2 smallish carpeted rooms and the rest of the house is hard floor.

Battery can be taken out and charged separately, which is great. First 100% charge from zero took 2.5hrs.
Comes with wall mount which is a lot less intrusive than the stand, so actually happier with that.

Only concern is that I would probably need to use it on max, so 10 mins for the whole house is a bit of an ask

At $99 I would buy again. Imo, a non-bargain price (i.e. a price that none of us Ozb'ers would buy at) around $200 would be pretty fair, which leaves us with a RRP of $249.99

  • Just received mine as well, always want a vacuum that can clean my bed, the small head does the job pretty well, tried in on my bed and it sucks out many dusts and hair, the build quality is good. I used medium on hard floor and it perform well, medium setting should last around 20 mins so should be enough to clean most of the area in my house. For the price is definitely a keeper for me.

  • The build quality is excellent and it feels better built than my old Dyson stick vacuum. An absolute bargain for $100 especially since you get two motorised heads as we.

  • +1

Received and used it last night. My view resonates with other Ozbargainers above. Bargain at $99! Does a reasonably good job on hard floor but lacking on carpet. Build quality is great, feels sturdy and well built without any loose parts. Have existing Dyson V6 animal to compare with and find Trouver is quieter. In terms of suction, pretty much the same and if anything, Trouver feels it has a bit better suction power. However, I also find that Trouver is longer in size and makes it a bit bulkier and weight distribution a bit strenuous on hand if use for a long period of time. The only thing lacking is big motorised head for carpet, perhaps extension hose and a stand to accommodate all accessories. All in all, happy with my purchase and definitely recommend for this price.

@OP, next is to post another deal for robot vacuum for OZB'ers to trial!

    • How do we all feel about the smaller "motorised" head on carpet? (Aside from it being small)

      • +1

That small motorised head is not intended for carpet, more for upholstery, bed, smaller furnitures.

  • +1

Mine just arrived and just gave it a go straight out of the box. Works well and is a good replacement for the dyson v6 slim.

  • just got mine, for $99 its a great deal, nice powerful and quiet, looks good too

hey OP do you have a carpet head for this ?

it says the original head that it comes with its good for carpets as well, but with draeme you have 1 soft head for floors, and 1 other head for carpets

also - not compatible with draeme nor dyson parts :)

    • The smaller head in the box is intended for carpets?

      • +1

could be, but its too small, will take ages to do a whole room
in draeme this small head was for bed and mattress

      • The motorised mini head is for cleaning upholstery, sofa, cleaning car seats, table top, pillows, bed sheet, mattress etc.
Very good for vacuuming bed after overnight sex to clean up all the unwanted hairs, smell and dusts. Hehe
It is not meant for carpet cos the size is small.
This vacuum cleaner is very good for hard floorings but not so good for rugs and carpets.

        • +1

          What about morning sex?

          • @chickennix: Yes, cleanup after secret coitus with fwb before wifey comes home.
Quite useful brush head for impromptu cleanup.
Make sure don’t forget the empty the bins and clean the brush as well, in case different colour hairs…hehe

    • Maybe can buy a hard brush from Dreame/Xiaomi and install on the head?
I reckon the dimension and length of the brush is the same for all Xiaomi-made cordless vacuum.

      • +1

I was hoping that would be the case too, but if you have a look at photos of the Dreame heads you can see the attachment is quite different: https://china-gadgets.com/dreame-v10-battery-vacuum-cleaner/. On the Trouver there's a ridge where the button is, but the Dreame it's just a round tube. Also, the Trouver has oval shaped connections compared to the Dreame's round ones. Definitely not compatible.

Edit: just realised you meant replacing just the roller. I don't think that'll work as there's no cowling to provide focused suction for carpet (like for the mini carpet head).

      • good idea, just tried putting the roller from dreame, didnt fit, its longer and has different mounts.

  • Mine just arrived. Tested it with 50% battery that came with it. I think it cleans really well. The part where the extension attaches to the handle moves a bit when the handle is lifted, but I don't see it as a major issue. Other than that, the overall build quality looks good. I'm quite happy with it so far. I think it's worth keeping for $99.

I love how most are complying with the OPs wishes in leaving a review.
Actually, bargains aside, the other thing I love about OZB is the community feedback on products in terms of value for money / usefulness as well, despite the buy first ask questions later nature. Props to everyone leaving feedback

  • received it last Wednesday and after a few use, I can say this is better than my old Dyson DC45! Easy to clean dust cup, quiet (compared to my Dyson), good build quality, easy to charge (removable battery). Bargain at $100!

  • Great deal if you have mostly hard floors. Is there any large carpet brushes you can get for this vacuum?

  • Yes a wider carpet head would be good. I think I emptied it wrong this morning I released the waste collector from the main unit and had dirt go everywhere. I'm finding it has ample power for carpet on the medium setting.

  • Can anyone comment on how they find the dust bin? Big enough? Easy to empty etc?

    • Super easy to empty, was concerned about dust being in an odd place but it seperates into two pieces for easy cleaning. I mostly purchased it for spot cleans around cat litter boxes, so bin size isn't in issue. Was impressed how much cat fur was in the bin already.

    • +1

I suggest daily emptying of the dust bin and weekly or twice weekly cleaning the bins and filters under running tap.
Need 24 hours to dry in room temperature as suggested in user manual for the filters.
It is not just the pet hairs and rubbish, but the dust this vacuum cleaner suck up is unbelievable with just the medium/regular speed.
Happy with this cordless vacuum, which I bought 3 weeks ago under the eBay Tuesday deal ($199), rather expensive now.
Using it daily for cleaning or/& spot cleaning.

  • Is the name of this product Trouver 11 or Trouver II? 🤔 (The text is very stylised.)

    • 11 going by the text rather than the logo

    • +1

It is Trouver Power 11 (Eleven).
The prior model was Trouver Power 10 but not sold in Australia.
The specs are almost 80% similar and share same accessories including batteries.

  • +1

So got mine. For the money it’s fantastic. We have a Dyson and it’s very similar. Even has an LED screen. Will use more for a full review. We have hard floors so this will be fine. Quick delivery. Everything works fine. Great deal.

    • Which model Dyson are you comparing it to?

  • Received. Actually very impressed so far. The bin is small. But I only plan on using this for work.
Has a nice screen showing percentage.
    wall mount is included

Unboxing seemed like an apple product. All neat and well presented.

Build quality seems better than my Dyson v7

Will report more later with further use.

    So far impressed.

Let the wife clean the living room. She prefers it to the Dyson.

Gave mine a full test run on the house and have a similar review to others.
After a full charge I managed to vacuum the whole house on mostly level 2 suction. It used about 60% battery. I used the small fabric head to do the carpet. The small size is handy for tighter spaces and corners, but is tedius for general vacuuming elsewhere. It would be great if there was a dedicated carpet head. Also, because it doesn't have a swivel, it's hard to vacuum under things with this attachment. For floorboards, it did well. This was my first stick vacuum and motorised head so it was a bit too swivel-y for me, but will just take some getting used too. Overall I think this was a great bargain and I'm happy with my purchase. The unit feels solid, but the handle isn't overly comfortable after maybe 10 minutes of use - but I am comparing that to a corded vacuum handle which is lighter to hold. The suction is good for general dust, but I will still be using my corded vacuum to do a proper clean. The LED screen and the lock function are also winners.

  • +1

Agree with the positive reviews. Large head works ok on carpet but tends to drag due to the brush composition. Great on hard floors though. The toggle option for power is a godsend!! It's no dyson v11 (which I also have). Got just over 10 mins run time on a combo of carpet and tiles on max. For under $100, gotta be happy with that!!

  • Great to read all the reviews. I do wonder if my initial review sets peoples expectations slightly lower and then you get a pleasant surprise when you try it, thereby putting a bias on peoples impressions. Eg if my review had been the first and glowing would people have had slightly lower option of the vacuum. Just a thought. Having said that I'm pretty happy still at $99.

However, I'm really interested in seeing if has experienced a very strange but hopefully innocuous thing I noticed-

When I happened to brush my hand along the metal extension rod while charging it gave a slightly vibration feeling which I just assumed was the metal surface but then I turned the charger off and the vibration was gone. Indicating it seems to be an electrical charge I am feeling. Anyone else get the same?

Hoping it's not a sign of a fault.

    • +1

I checked this today and mine is the same. Definitely some kind of static/earth leakage going on. My Dyson doesn't do it in comparison.
Bit of a worry if you're leaving it plugged in and charging, I'm not using the wall mount as yet so just unplug the battery to charge.

  • Anyone tried this out for car cleaning yet?
Interested on how it performs and with what attachments

    • +1

Will give it a go tomorrow and let you know. First thing I noticed using it for the first time today is the length with the nozzle attachment. Nowhere near as user friendly to get in tight spaces like my Dyson

    • +2

Used it today, as suspected, the length makes it difficult to get in to tighter areas, would be great with a flexible extension. Motorised mini head worked well but again, if you've got a small car, it will be cramped getting in to all the areas.

Its about 65cm long with the nozzle attachment, compared to 45cm for my Dyson.

      • Thankyou. Wonder if a flexible hose attachment is available?

  • Mine arrived today, wife and I are impressed and will definitely be keeping it for $99. Cleaning power seems better than our outgoing V7.
Seems to leave our medium pile carpet fluffier than using the Dyson, which is nice under foot when you first walk on it lol

Really wish it included the floor stand so there's somewhere to keep all the attachments but the wall mount is ok.

    • i find it doesn't do carpet great, prob expecting too much from a hand held.

but collects dust, after about 1 small room carpet, and bathroom its almost full.

Bin a bit small for my house.

      • How dusty is your house?
I've got two dogs (one is a German Shepherd that sheds pretty bad) plus 4 girls that also drop a lot of hair and it's big enough to do my whole house (about 350sqm) without emptying it. I do vac everyday though, sometimes twice if the dogs being in some sand :( I was concerned about it being smaller than my V7 but it's fine for me and I like the way it splits in two, so easy to clean hair out of.

I think the general consensus is the soft roller isn't great for carpet but I find it ok for light cleaning and have a powered vac for deep cleans once a week or so.

        • prob vacum once every 3 weeks at best, i go by full based on the line on the bin,

its amazing for 100 but i just think i might need a hose attachement for car cleaning and nooks.

  • Received mine today and love it!!
I love that it tells me how much charge is left and I find the suction to be great.
I only have hard floors so its perfect for my house

  • Can we leave the Vacuum with charge ON 24/7? I use the holder with charging port, and it's hard to remember to turn off when the vacuum is 100%

  • Really happy with the Trouver. The build quality is great - feels really solid. OLED is sharp and easy to read. Has the regular floor attachment/mini carpet (bedding/sofa)/crevice tool attachment. Charge easily lasts enough for a few rooms and more. Emptying out the dust is easy and convenient and seems to pick up just as much as my other conventional and hand held vac. Love the ease of use, so easy to pick up and give the floor a quick vac. Suits my hard floors perfectly. A bargain at $99 for sure!
