  • I don't know how edit it but it's same price on eBay so may be able to get it cheaper.

    • PPSS1 gets $10 off, so $95 c&c

  • I have used this: (https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/rockwell-shopseries-rock…) and bought it recently - works super great. But hey I'm no expert :)

I'm sorry to be brutally honest but these are shite if you are trying to correct any clear coat damage.

      • I agree. The one in this deal is far superior.

hey mate all good - honestly i havent used it to correct any clear coat damage just preventative care. will take your word tho, cheers

  • Don't bother. Get something that is at least 900 - 1000W of power. Otherwise just invest in Rupes.

Hard disagree. This is a fine polisher for occasional DIY paint correction. Yes it might be slighly slower but it does the job for the price. If you're only polishing your own cars then you really shouldn't be doing it so often you need a Rupes. Good pads are a better investment at this price.

I'm not sure why the average person would need a $900 Rupes unless they are getting paid work.

  • Any good value pad suggestions?

150mm lake country pad stack from waxit and a 150mm plate from ebay on this works well.

Not the lowest all time price $57.97. Best for now I suppose if you need one.

    • I am also waiting for the better deal.

      • Same…but admittedly I've been waiting about a year now and I think the lowest I've seen is in the high $90's (or perhaps it was just this same price w/ discounted gift cards).

  • Is it $5 better than https://www.repco.com.au/en/car-care-panel/power-cleaning/po… ?

650W motor, more pads, have seen it cheaper

    • This one is $75 with Auto club membership, but is smaller pad size.

    • I would also like to know.

      • +3

I think the smaller pad size would be better, but you could get smaller pads to use with the SCA one. Both dual action

  • What else can I use this on?

    • Polish your fibreglass wakeboat

    • I actually used mine to apply leather conditioner to all 4 leather couches in my house… does a great job

      • Doesn't it fling it all over the place?

  • I've got a fiberglass boat i want to polish up, I was told to get a dual action polisher, Would this one be the go?

    • Should be fine, this is a DA sander/polisher.

    • If it's heavily oxidised you will need a rotary polisher to remove it. But be warned - a rotary in the wrong hands can be dangerous and burn through your gel coat.
You could always finish off with this DA to remove any halo's the rotary may create.
