So brave… posting this before the price is even released.

    • not long to go…

Since when have these guys released a poorly priced non-wine product though? A bit of a leap of faith in them by me, hope they don't let me down :)

Just wanted to give people as much notice as possible too.

  • Have you actually ever tried this cider? Couldn't find much about it, and the reviews were mixed: people compared it to strongbow! And those were the people that liked it!

    • It's dry, but you can drink it (/South African in joke).

It's better than most ciders, much better than Strongbow!

$25, search for Savanna on the site and you will find it!

    • Is it for a carton of 24 or a 12 pack? Title says a carton, but in price it says $24.99 per dozen?

    • on until Friday…

  • I'm not a huge cider fan, but found this drinkable enough.

EDIT - cheers Mod, I was just about to update with more info.

  • Suggested you drink with a slice of lemon in the top, hopefully it isn't as bad as the other drink that requires a slice of lemon/lime (only 1/2 a star out of 5 for those who think its good, the beer that is not the cider).

  • Thanks - this is pretty decent cider at a great price. Bought 2x.

    • What BBE on your bottles????

  • arrived today - cute bottles!

  • I received my cartons a few days ago on 1 Feb, 2012 … looked for use date by stamp … found this on side of bottle … BBE 012012 … does this mean that they sold me out of date stock????

    • Mine has the same date, and I think it is out of date stock. Tastes ok at the moment though :)

I contacted "www.getwinesdirect.com.au" about selling "out of date" stock. My issue was that they did not disclose this fact to the consumer in their offer.

I ordered 3 cartons (3 x 24 bottles). These were for my personal consumption over the next few months … I'm not a heavy drinker. Obviously, I was most concerned when they arrived "out of date".

After contacting "www.getwinesdirect.com.au" I decided to keep 1 carton and send 2 cartons back at their cost.

The question is …when is a bargain a bargain? … when there is full disclosure by the seller!!!

      • Yeah, I'm glad I only bought one in the end. I was going to buy two, but changed my mind. If I'd bought more than one carton I too would have been a lot more concerned about them selling out of date stock.
