Sonos Arc Soundbar $1189 + Delivery (Free C&C) @ The Good Guys (RRP $1399)

260
MAYHEM

Been keeping my eye on Sonos Arc sales for a while.

With Cash Rewards 5% (assuming my maths is correct) should reduce down to $1129.69! Works out to be the 2nd cheapest its ever been (assuming my ozbargain search history is correct!).

Enjoy!

  • $945 was the cheapest I believe? Just waiting for it to drop below $1k - HN/GG don't want to negotiate this any further.

      Correct. (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/610265)

Looking at the deal, it seems to be stock clearance and was sold out in 15 mins! I believe this deal would be more 'Ozbargainer inclusive'. !

There was like one only, a click bait deal. That’s below my cost and I buy just as well as any other dealer

Genuine question. Is Sonos a brand enough to warrant a sup-1K pricetab on a sound bar? Or is this a niche model or something?

I picked one up last month.

No DTS is really annoying, ATMOS only works for me through netflix & prime. I think its too new at this stage.

feel like i should have gotten the bose…

it does look pretty sexy under the tv tho…

As someone that's tried a variety of Sony, Samsung and LG soundbars over the years that have all been in the ~$600 to $1k price range, the Sonos Arc has been the best of the bunch so far by a wide margin (I picked one up the last time it dipped below $1k). It's obviously going to depend on your setup and how you have things configured, but I've been very happy with mine. Waiting for a discount on the sub to add that in at some point. Just make certain that it's going to be connecting it to an eARC port with pass-through enabled on the TV to get the most out of it.

      • Is this through the settings or something?

      • eARC is only needed (for best quality) when using a 4k BD player. If you're just streaming, ARC is fine.

      Worth it,

All sonos stuff I just worth it (if you can afford it) other things do the same job cheaper though

add another 5% from this deal if you are an suncorp member

Sub is 849 after code but you can always get 15% discount from Unidays

  • If you own an older Sonos product, don't forget to check if you can get upgrade discount (up to 30% off) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/598051, making the Arc around $970.

  • I got it from TGGs for $1129.55 by price matching with 15% off Unidays, then used discounted gift cards. Total was $1129.55.

Pretty easy to get it down to $1189. The real deal is not haggling and getting 5% cashback since you can check out online along with discounted gift cards

  • Anyone tried to prove match at JB ?

    • Considering they are the same company, you would think they would price match without issues. It still will end up cheaper through TGGs than JB so not sure why you would price match unless you had gift cards to get rid of or a specific CC cashback offer
