    • 9000 model? store specific or catalogue?

    • not the Pro 9000, it would have been another model most likely.

    • true bargain if it's pro 9000

No stock in WA, QLD & Tassie. Someone should remind OW that boarders are meaningless when online shopping.

  • I've been looking for a C510 best so far is $49 at Dick Smith, won't price match online price of $40. So bought a Microsoft HD5000 for $34 from Harvey Norman.

  • Have been using this webcam for more than 2 years. Only a word can say. "Great". Great price as well

I am going to order one of these to use for a while and then pass it off to my mum. Personally, I am hanging out for the new 1080p C920 which was annouced at CES and processes the video on the camera itself so it takes the load off the PC. There is a nice comparison between the 9000 and the top of the range C920 here: http://www.ubergizmo.com/2012/01/logitech-c920-webcam-review…

Of course there is a big price differece, $30 for the 3000 and US$90 for the C920. Just letting you guys know the options. The new one is good if you Skype a lot, or are in a long distance relationship.

  • Can the logitech software be downloaded and used with Microsoft cam? It's just that they had it running in officeworks, and it tracked my face really well.

  • Was $35 in the recent Logitech Store sale with free delivery. So if you can pick it up for $29 it's a good deal.

  • Out of interest, I hear this brand in works well with Mac OS. Can some one pls confirm. I have built in webcams on all my laptops at home but need one for my Mac mini.

    • unfortunately there is no Logitech Driver support for Mac OS, although we have seen/heard people get them running using the Mac OS native drivers.

There is this the Quickcam Vision Pro for Mac which is the equiavent essentially or the HD Pro Webcam C910 has Mac OS compatibility which is a newer model in the range.

  • Earthman According to Logitech site the camera is listed as one that is supported by UVC Webcam built in drivers in MAC OSX
I have a HP webcam that works with my mini mac.

  • Any other good stuff that is worth getting taking advantage of the free postage?

Can they price match Paper Reflex to BigW $4???

    cheers

  • Damn, this thing is still $100 in Dick Smith… Wow this is better price than I thought.

  • I've had this camera for a very long time. It has been tossed around, crammed in boxes etc. and it still works great and I have it set up right now.

  • They got loads left at office works in Prospect South Australia. Just walked into store and picked up 3 of them. So should still have 27 left. Be fast though, they just changed marked price to $29 was marked as $49 until I asked the young girl where they were.
They near laptops at front of store.

    logitechshop.com.au/logitech-webcam-pro-9000.html

    • Yup got that right. Its on their facebook page. Saved me a trip to OW. Yay to LTS!

Edit: Sold out. That was quick..

  • I jus bouth one at Fyshwick officeworks and there are 7 left on the self.

  • This deal is still on. I could not figure out how to successfully order it online. It kept failing at the last minute saying this item cannot be put on backorder. So I called the OW on Elizabeth street in Melb and they guy scanned it and said it comes up as $29 in the store as well! So this is NOT an online only deal. Good luck everyone.

  • yep just picked one up from OW coburg. apparently have a few. scanned instore for $29. absolutely sensational unit - i upgraded from a logitech e2500 POS to this and it made all the difference. cannot believe others are selling it for $100!!

  • Yeah, upgraded myself from a Logitech 5000 and the differance is quite amazing. And it's smaller :)
A good buy for Uni as well :D

  • Just wondering if the 9000 is compatible with Win7 thanks

  • let see if LTS can do better than this price? :)
