They've pricematched something they don't seem to have in stock anywhere?!?

    • Who doesnt have stock??

        Bunnings

      • Nothing in Canberra, nothing in 10 stores related to a random Sydney postcode, nothing in any of the stores in a random Adelaide postcode. Probably more time that it took you to not bother checking!

        • Seems to be the standard Bunnings response to Aldi of late. Price match with an item that is not available anywhere and cannot be ordered for delivery. Hopefully the ACCC will take a look at Bunnings.

          • @GRP: How could they benefit from doing that on purpose?

    • ssshhh! you'll ruin bunnings' cunning new price-matching strategy …

    • Stock in WA. At $199.

      • Odd, showing as in stock at Wangara for $149 for me.

        • Interesting. Price depends on store. I've not seen that within the state before.
May be related to the new website.

        • yep and i got one too. :)
          also 149 at balcatta store

I am in Melbourne, damn this lockdown, WA is more than 5K away

If it's not in stock in your store, I would suggest going in there (if you aren't in lockdown like me), the staff are usually pretty happy to order in and raincheck the price. I find the individuals to be pretty helpful and not really care about the kind of draconian policies mentioned above.

  • Every local store is showing: "This item is not sold at this store"

I checked this yesterday to see if they were price matching and it was in stock but $199.
The stores have stock, the website just says they don't

  • I have this chainsaw, it is brilliant!

  • Well i ordered online through click and collect and picked it up from Belrose for $149

  • I think they having issues with the stock levels for this item on their website

  • I have this and it's pretty good. I just wish the chain was better but for the price, still overall a big positive from me.

  • If this is the 350mm+ bar unit with the twin batteries its basically been out of stock for over 6 months in Victoria.

There were some promo units floating around with the battery packs included but you literally could not search for them and I just gave up.

  • Rydalmere has 2 left after I bought one.

  • Just called my usual Bunnings store (in Vic), and was told they do have stock, even though the website says no click and collect, delivery, or in-store. This price ends on July 2.

  • Crap I bought this last month. Does bunnings have a price drop guarantee 😞

  • none left at Gladesville

  • This is now available online again.

Sale ends before lockdown finishes, with no option to click and collect online, and only trade allowed in store. However, if you call and they have stock (a dozen in central Victoria) they were able to sort out a click and collect.

  • I bought one today at Bunnings Tuggeranong (ACT). There was one more on the shelf. I said I was surprised because all stores were showing no stock in the ACT, but when they checked stock levels on their internal device it showed that the Airport might have 1, Fyshwick (0), but that Gungahlin was showing 5. Just in case someone in Canberra is still looking.
