You just know someone with a Commodore station wagon would rock up going yeah she'll fit in no worries.

      • Hahaha i stuggled with my 51" tv in my commodore wagon, apparently it needed to travel upright

        • Upright was true to plasmas leds not really

    Any HDMI 2.1?

Add around $82 for a Google TV — VIDAA is utter tripe.

    Great TV though.

    • Have you or anyone else here had any issues with motion blur? I've read elsewhere that the Q series is not the best at handling fast moving objects.

Motion is terrible on this! Unless you like full soap opera effect then its pretty good

    • Vidaa4 is pretty good. Super responsive only thing currently missing is Disney+ but prob won't be long till that's included

      • Motion blur not an issue on Stan sport 4K which VIDAA doesn't do. Check the whirlpool thread on suggested settings.

        It's a great TV.

        VIDAA isn't a great OS…

  • will be great if Sony can do the same, and drop there 85 9000 to $3500

    • Yep
Pretty much what I have my sights set on for a 85” screen.
Any pitfalls? Switching across from a 50” plasma

  • I picked this up last Black Friday for $3395 w/ the discounted Him/Her/Home gift cards. Absolutely love this TV, its always a conversation piece with guests. I've got no complaints with VIDAA for YouTube, Netflix and Amazon (which is all I use it for).

    • Howz the motion blur on this one as mentioned by other user above ?
      Thanks

Looks like I got negged by people who have this TV and can't stand that someone says something bad about it. Tested plenty of movies and TV on this model and its motion is really poor. There's all kinds of stuttering and blur. One mode is so bad it's Iike CCTV. Doesn't have any black frame insertion to help clear anything up. Only tolerable when using SOE, so everything looks like 60fps.

My n=1 is different to yours on our 75Q8

As noted I've had it since December 2020 and used it as I've stated above (plus a decent dose of PS4 Pro), and never noticed any motion blur. Also read several reviews prior to purchasing and none mentioned motion blur. General consensus was it was much better value in comparison to a Samsung alternative (which was the other set I was looking at).

  • Just reading through details, it’s not compatible with Apple airplay. Can only work with a third part app called remotenow or miracast? Is that right does anyone know?

  • Just bought one yesterday, with free delivery, seems to be free delivery for most major cities?
