Razer Basilisk X Hyperspeed Wireless Ergonomic Gaming Mouse $57.81 Delivered @ Amazon AU

This has also dropped down from $65. Prices keep dripping down, it will probably jump up again after some purchases.

      Thanks. Grabbed one of these.

  • Thanks OP, grabbed one.

why is there frame rate for a mouse lmao

    • +8

I assume it's meant to be polling rate lol

    • +1

Its the number of frames per second the sensor is able to capture, higher FPS means greater accuracy at high speed.
Its not the polling speed, that's something else.

The polling rate is the rate at which your computer asks your mouse to send an update. An easy way to think about the polling rate is by looking at it as the maximum variance in response time. As the sensor is a tiny camera, the frame rate is the frequency at which that camera takes pictures. The sensor compares two of the pictures to figure out how far you moved the mouse. Generally the frame rate is well over the polling rate which means many of the movements are used in a single report to the USB controller. This value is generally not important when looking to purchase a mouse since it is implied by the Acceleration & Tracking Speed values on the sensor.

          Sounds like my ex
Ironically our “polling” rate was pretty low

What’s the sports brand equivalent of Lenovo esports gear?
    Reebok?

Where in the OP did it mention that it's a esports mouse?

  • Anyone have any idea why a wired mouse has the below requirement?
    Batteries 1 AAA batteries required.

    Thanks

    • shoot I did not see that and bought already, but it is weird that a wired mouse needs battery… hhmm hope it is a typo or something to that effect

      • Yeah I went to look at the official lenovo site and it doesn't reference a battery

      Amazon descriptions are notoriously unreliable.

    • For RGB lighting LOL!

  • Reviews seem to say the rgb can't be turned off, bit disappointing.

  • This looks a lot like the Corsair Glaive mouse that sells for around a 100 bucks, the 2 side buttons are great for FPS gaming.

  • Do I need another mouse

    • +2

Probably not, but this mouse need you.
