this game has so much potential but is frustratingly… Nintendo. to play multiplayer, each single player need a switch console and this kit. you can't just get 4 kits with the one console. on top of that, if you manage to get 4 players organised with 4 consoles and 4 copies of the game, the local wifi network used to play can't really handle 4 streams at once so it's incredibly laggy and unresponsive. i really think they missed a trick here. it has SO much potential. playing against bots, they won't recognise physical obstacles (like a table leg or an slight incline) and just speed straight through them.
