        beyerdynamic lagoon ANC are good. ANC not quite as good as the sonys in the same range (wx100 or something like that) but it's still good and the sound quality is better, i think they have the longest battery life of any bluetooth headphone, at least that i could see when i was in the market for some. they go on sale for 250 often enough, that's how much i got for them on minidisc a couple months ago.

      My assumption is amount paid with LP needs to be $100 or over as the $25 discount is applied at LP portal rather than at JB HiFi portal.

      It's a tiny hit that self repairs within no time. It would make no difference to any home or car loan. It would just say something like "Latitude Credit Enquiry".

      Defaulting on a payment will give you a nasty hit though.

      I hate these sort of services, but the amazing $20 off $60 spend offers that constantly appear were too good to turn down. I would never use it outside of these offers.

        Ive had Latitude Pay a while now. Use it frequently to get $x off purchased and only issue I ever had was paying stuff off immediately had my account suspended due to suspicious activity.

        My credit score has not dropped since signing up. It did show the enquiry but seemingly had no effect unless it stopped an increase that month. It has steadily climbed since then. But mostly as i had loans from years ago hit the 5 year mark and stop showing the enquiries. Only drop i ever had was paying those loans up early. Which really pissed me off.

        From my experience with Latitude Pay after the initial check it doesn't matter how you use it so long as you don't miss a payment.

          My score didn't change for Latitude or Zip.

          I got them both because of the deals at the time on OzB. Zip has been utterly worthless. Never used it. By contrast, I've used the $20 off $60 promo about 8 times.

          Don't payoff immediately, wait for sometime.
          I did the same once and account was suspended. Now I wait for an hour and then close it, never had this suspension issue with this approach.
          Basically, what I think is you have to wait until all processing of order has completed from both merchant and latitude pay side.

            @rkm: I paid mine off 2 or 3 days later and they suspended my account. I called customer service and got a rude response along the lines of "we're a 10 week payment program, not a 2 day one". Um, yeah. It should really state that more clearly in the T&C's.

            I know better now. It's handy to have, especially with all the offers they have.

              Interestingly, that is the only mention of the word "early" in the terms. They really don't want to draw attention to early repayment, but there it is.

              Also, just noticed that it does in fact say "prepay", not "repay"…

        You got it totally wrong. Zip doesn't charge you for paying early. However, if you still have a balance after your 2nd payment of $40, you will be charged a $6 monthly fee.

    Just in case it is relevant, I price matched a product over the phone and was sent a direct cart link with the adjusted total.
    Latitude Pay isn't one of the payment methods when using the price match process over the phone (I'm in Melbourne, so phone is the only option).

      yes it works. however, you pay with gift card first at JB HiFi checkout. Just make sure when you proceed with checkout using Latitude Pay (you get directed to LP portal), the amount remaining to pay is $100+

        You can use LP in store but it does not use Tap and Pay. The person at the register will ask for your mobile number, then you’ll receive a txt message from LP to login and authorise payment. That’s about it… silly process but it works.

        They don’t even have an app yet either.
