What does one buy when they don't really need anything though…

    •

I bought ps+ 1yr and $50 ps top up for $84.95. You could also just get $100 ps voucher for $75.

      •

        what is ps?

  •

    Thanks heaps OP

Anyone in the market for wireless gaming headphones… brings it down to $94 for anyone interested

    •

      Not bad at all!

I'm actually keen on some good bluetooth headphones, not something cheap but also not insanely priced. Not sure where to start but I wish there was a similar deal for some kind of good noise-cancelling headphones.

      •

beyerdynamic lagoon ANC are good. ANC not quite as good as the sonys in the same range (wx100 or something like that) but it's still good and the sound quality is better, i think they have the longest battery life of any bluetooth headphone, at least that i could see when i was in the market for some. they go on sale for 250 often enough, that's how much i got for them on minidisc a couple months ago.

  •

Can you use vouchers and pay the balance with LP (and still get the $25 discount)?

    • +1 vote

      FYI, you can

Bought a pair of the B&O H8i headphones:

      •

But the amount on LP needs to be 100+?

    • +4 votes

      just did.

Order total $203. Paid $100 with gift cards, remaining $103 with LP.

My assumption is amount paid with LP needs to be $100 or over as the $25 discount is applied at LP portal rather than at JB HiFi portal.

      •

Yeah, I should have said only part paid with gift cards, the balance was over $100.

  •

any way to look at the cheapest items on JB? To bring ~$95-$99 items just over the edge.

Thanks for this, just used it on ratchet and clank ps5 game coming out on the 11th for $109

    •

Did the same….struggle with the new price on video games so this helps get it back to something more normal.

    • +1 vote

Did the same! Was the first thing I thought of using the voucher on

Got this aswell. Could have pre-ordered Far Cry 6 aswell but the release date was a bit too far.

    •

Fyi Ratchet and Crank is cheaper on Amazon at $108. Always get them on release date

      • +2 votes

        It wasnt clear but I presume $109-25 = $84.

  •

Does JB still sell Google Play credit online? It seems impossible to search for.

  •

Hi I do not have this one. This is eligible for each one HN, TGG and JBHIFI and get 20$ benefits? or only one use across all 3?

  •

Does this work with buying gift cards or steam/psn credits?

  • +1 vote

Nice thanks. Might buy one of the Audio Technica turntables, any suggestions which is the best value?? Have some old records I would like to play.

What was the implication of credit history and latitude pay?

Also curious about afterpay as i want to pull the trigger and sign up..

    • +1 vote

I believe latitude pay does credit check.

    •

I can confirm that LP does a credit check, like you're applying for a credit card.

  •

I was able to grab a $40 item together with the $60 PS Plus promotion from this deal for $75 all up! Thanks OP

    • +1 vote

Good call - I might get the ps+ and another ps5. Controller

  •

Can you price match in store then pay with LP?

    •

      Pretty sure you can.

      •

I want the Steelseries Apex Pro KB but its $299 on Amazon and $349 there… even with discount its more

Is this worth a hit on the credit file? Don't really need it…

    • +2 votes

It's a tiny hit that self repairs within no time. It would make no difference to any home or car loan. It would just say something like "Latitude Credit Enquiry".

Defaulting on a payment will give you a nasty hit though.

I hate these sort of services, but the amazing $20 off $60 spend offers that constantly appear were too good to turn down. I would never use it outside of these offers.

      YMMV.

      • +3 votes

A 'tiny hit' is interpreted differently by all credit providers. I think your comment while true can be misinterpreted

Ive had Latitude Pay a while now. Use it frequently to get $x off purchased and only issue I ever had was paying stuff off immediately had my account suspended due to suspicious activity.

My credit score has not dropped since signing up. It did show the enquiry but seemingly had no effect unless it stopped an increase that month. It has steadily climbed since then. But mostly as i had loans from years ago hit the 5 year mark and stop showing the enquiries. Only drop i ever had was paying those loans up early. Which really pissed me off.

From my experience with Latitude Pay after the initial check it doesn't matter how you use it so long as you don't miss a payment.

My score didn't change for Latitude or Zip.

I got them both because of the deals at the time on OzB. Zip has been utterly worthless. Never used it. By contrast, I've used the $20 off $60 promo about 8 times.

          •

@ash2000: Zip's single use credit card is useful for subscription services.

        •

Don't payoff immediately, wait for sometime.
I did the same once and account was suspended. Now I wait for an hour and then close it, never had this suspension issue with this approach.
Basically, what I think is you have to wait until all processing of order has completed from both merchant and latitude pay side.

          •

@rkm: I paid mine off 2 or 3 days later and they suspended my account. I called customer service and got a rude response along the lines of "we're a 10 week payment program, not a 2 day one". Um, yeah. It should really state that more clearly in the T&C's.

I know better now. It's handy to have, especially with all the offers they have.

            •

              @Graffin:

…got a rude response along the lines of "we're a 10 week payment program, not a 2 day one".

From https://www.latitudepay.com/customer-terms-conditions/latitu... : "Despite clauses 27, 31 and 32, you can prepay the Loan or any portion of it early, in accordance with the terms of the Loan Contract."

Interestingly, that is the only mention of the word "early" in the terms. They really don't want to draw attention to early repayment, but there it is.

Also, just noticed that it does in fact say "prepay", not "repay"…

        •

Very insightful regarding credit checks with Latitude Pay. Thanks a lot. Will definitely consider this.

  •

Maybe targeted. From the email I received:

    *Approved LatitudePay customers only.

    •

      *Approved LatitudePay customers only.

They use those words.to.desceibe all their promos. This one is eligible to all.

    •

Approved as in those who have an account and not the ones that were denied an account

  •

Anyone with LP can use it on JB to get $25 off by purchasing $100 plus item

  •

Is there any fees for paying back the full amount early?

    •

Yeah, i would like to know too.
With Zip there is $6 monthly fee
      Afterpay, nothing.
      LP ?

      •

You got it totally wrong. Zip doesn't charge you for paying early. However, if you still have a balance after your 2nd payment of $40, you will be charged a $6 monthly fee.

        •

          Oh yes, thats correct
Last time im using zip because promo 20% cashback and the cashback did go through after 2 weeks and that already trigger $6 fee

    •

No fees, just pay it off

      •

Just paid it.. no fees from what I could see

    •

Wtf ? Why do you need to pay fee if you're paying them off early? I thought fees are for those that paying them late?

      •

Who knows what these faux loan sharks are putting in their t&Cs.

  •

FitBit Versa 2 half price down to $149. Today Only!! With Latitude discount, $124

    •

Take advantage of additional 5% off and final price is $116.55

Edit: Was gonna pull the trigger myself on the Fitbit Versa 2 but am hesitating now after reading poor reviews

Just in case it is relevant, I price matched a product over the phone and was sent a direct cart link with the adjusted total.
Latitude Pay isn't one of the payment methods when using the price match process over the phone (I'm in Melbourne, so phone is the only option).

    •

Was just about to do this. Hmm looks like i'll give it a miss then.

    •

Were you able to apply the 5% off code? 92JHKM9N44G94L

  •

Does this work with a gift card?

I can get 4% off JB HiFi gift card from RACQ.

If I'm buying the $100 PSN credit (which will cost $75 after the LatitudePay discount). Would I be able to use a $75 JB HiFi Gift card to pay for it?

    •

yes it works. however, you pay with gift card first at JB HiFi checkout. Just make sure when you proceed with checkout using Latitude Pay (you get directed to LP portal), the amount remaining to pay is $100+

      •

        Ah ok.

So I'm only able to use the gift card to pay off an amount prior to paying with LatitudePay? That is, I won't be able to use the $75 gift card to pay for just the PSN Credit because the payment needs to be made via LatitudePay. Is that right?

        •

Correct - the $25 discount gets applied at LP portal.

  •

Weird…My application for LP just got declined. I've never had an issue with my credit report before…..

    •

I reached out to their support and they removed a block on my account. No issue with my credit and I asked for a report from Experian which turned out all good. Try your luck!

  •

Was thinking about signing up and using for the Indiana Jones 4K box set when it gets released this month but too much mucking about for something that will be a singel purchase using them

Will wait until a wicked wensday again along with my Him card I'm picking up tomorrow from coles

  •

Can we use LP in store ? Or is it online only ?

    •

Don't think you can tap & pay

      •

You can use LP in store but it does not use Tap and Pay. The person at the register will ask for your mobile number, then you’ll receive a txt message from LP to login and authorise payment. That’s about it… silly process but it works.

They don’t even have an app yet either.

  •

Does Latitude Pay charge you a small fee for every purchase that you make thru them?

    •

No, only a fee if you don't pay or something, just buy something and pay instantly and you should never get fees

      •

        Thanks mate, appreciate it.

  •

Anyone else able to confirm if they were able to purchase a Jb gift card with this offer?

      Doesn't work on gc
