  • A sign of a bogan is seeing somone drink this while pushing a pram

But Monsters's got what babies crave. It's got electrolytes.

    • +5

I would have just stopped the sentence at "this."

    • +4

Mega hit of caffeine can increase the intensity of orgasm
      Maybe they’re on to something

    • +4

Not much different than holding a stabucks double mochiatto with milk and cream in a tall cup. Same caffeine, same sugar.

      • -2

        less cancer

      • Zero Ultra and Ultra Rosa are sugar free I think.

    • Lets be honest; I rarely see the bogans reaching for the calorie smart choices; regardless of the product.

    • Personal experience huh?

    • I can drink 4 a day and my heart rate still stays ~60

      • I drink them too; but it's more a worry about your adrenal gland than your heart.

If massive caffeine intake isn't showing an effect on your heart rate, it's showing a possible sign that your adrenal gland has become resistant.
Whenever someone says this; it's genuinely asking the doctor for a hormone level and stress 'marker' check.

I had to quit my 2 a day for a few months to recover, myself.

        • What did the doctor say when you went? did they describe what happens when the adrenal gland is affected? (saving a trip to the doctor)

          • +2

@Blitzfx: He said "Here's a form for blood tests, to make sure your adrenal gland is functioning as expected"; and to wean myself off (but quickly) the caffiene.
I switched to half-shot mochas and then to dark chocolate, and then to tea.

After about 6 months of almost no caffeine (I did have a bit of chocolate here or there); I broke my rules and had a coffee with a partner.
Hoo boy; do you know when things are working again, haha. Coffee hits like a train~!

No S&S option for Ultra Rosa

    • Not sure why not coming up for you. I just ordered a few cases with S&S for Ultra Rosa

    • It wasn't at first but is available now

  • +1

    Cheers op good deal

  • +1

Spotted them half price at Woolies today so figured they'll be matched at Amazon. Just in time for my last carton running out

  • +19

    * crack *

    Yeah…

    * sip *

They don't make them deals like this anymore.

    • +1

This makes a legitimately great advertisement for it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BHHJaEqMSqQ
I really want to try it sometime lol

      • As someone in that age bracket, I've owned or extensively driven all of those 'styles'; if only the sold Eclipse' here, I'd have the whole set.

Age aside though; that really was the golden era for cars. Parents and a few friends have 'new cars' and literally ANY time something breaks, it's a dealership thing.
Even if they fix it; the dealer still needs to reset some warning or such.
Car maintenance expectations are a little broken at the moment….

  • Crack a Monnie!

    Water is better 🥱

    • +1

I hate when I’m visiting someone and they try and give me something other than water because they think I’m being polite when I say I’m happy with tap water. I like water lol

  • +5

I once chugged two of these and a Red Bull, and spent 48 hours studying without stop. Nice. Heart rate went through the roof tho.

Will I become a good gamer?

    • Only if you have 10 cans. Don’t worry about your heart

      • +1

Your liver does make cool rocks after a while.

    • In all honesty, I've tracked my performance over a 5 year period when taking caffeine and 'pre workout' drinks before any competitive play, and not.
There is a slight trackable difference between medicated and not.

So, if you're "average" perhaps you'll be "good"? I guess it depends what your goals are.

  • +3

Currently $6.25 for a four pack at woolies

    • Yeah that matches the regular amazon price but is more expensive than the S&S price, $1.56/can vs $1.40/can S&S

white ones are great if you have an eating disorder

    • +6

      Such an edgy comment.

      Eating disorders are an illness.

      • He might being edgy, but he's telling the truth (either the white one or the Rosa one) if the girls with eating disorders that I personally know are a trend.

        • +2

I am very aware that it's the truth, but why bring it up in the first place? All they have achieved is reminding at least one person of their horrible eating disorder, and how their suffering is a joke to people who don't understand it.

To be fair, I'm not mad at the commenter, I'm mad at my eating disorder 🙃

          • +1

@stig: I'm sorry for my input in this thread, stig.

It's a horrible illness and I'm sorry you suffer it. Like I mentioned; I personally know people with EDs, including my own cousin so I completely understand I shouldn't have piped in. If I knew you were a sufferer; I wouldn't have added my comment but that doesn't excuse it.

It was indeed an unnecessary comment by jonny.

            • +1

@BradH13: Thank you and @jonnys1n for such friendly and caring responses to my irritated one.

I hope your cousin and friends get better soon. As I said, it's such an unfair illness (though aren't they all!)

          • +2

@stig: haha sorry mate makng fun of myself also i have one of these a day with about 3 black coffees. im diagnosed binge eating disorder and weight constantly changes in a 30kg range sourced from body dysphoria from a big weightloss many years ago. as a studying psych i should know not to make backhand comments about mental illness on public forums.

            my bad mate

            • +2

@jonnys1n: I'm now laughing at your original comment and reconsidering it as a very helpful tip for people with an ED who are hyper-aware of their calorie intake, rather than a jab at them. It's all in good fun and I was a bit sensitive last night!

Best of luck in your journey, it is such an unfair thing to deal with. I hope you find your peace.

Btw the Rosa ones are also great if you have ED… liquid candy.

              • @stig:

Btw the Rosa ones are also great if you have ED… liquid candy.

Are they any good if you have the other kind of ED? (Asking for a friend)

    • Definitely makes a good meal replacement for intermittent fasting.

  • +1

Haven't bought Monster for ages since they phased out the Absolute Zero flavour here in Aus. Found that one tastes the closest to the original flavour whereas these over Zero flavours are a bit too sweet.

    • +3

I used to buy the 250ml bullet cans and top them up with soda water to reduce the sweetness. For some reason Woolies or Coles don't sell them anymore…

      • +1

You guys are bang on though. I often buy a can and dilute it 50-50 with water, it tastes basically the same its crazy.

  • thanks op i got the redbull zero deal

  • +7

These will keep you going when your washing windows at the traffic lights

    • How do y’all typically respond to people coming up to wash your windows?

      • +2

        Don't make eye contact.

      • +3

        Turn on your windscreen wipers

      • +1

Thats an odd question bro, they're the one offering a service, so it really depends how they approach.

If they walk up with a rock wrapped in a Tshirt and say "Wash ya fuggin windows cnt?" I'll say "Nah piss off mate"
If they walk up with a squeegee, and actually try to offer a service, I'll say "No thank you" and usually give them $10 or so to go grab some lunch.

We all know it's hard having to do stuff like that just to keep a roof or whatever up.

  • +4

The only good flavour is the mango loco one

    • +1

      yap

    • Not a fan of Ginger Beer?

  • What is a good flavour recomendation to try this ?

    • +1

      I like Rosa

  • Am I the only one who thinks Monster doesn't give enough of a good hit?

    For me it's:

    1. Mother (by large margin)
    2. Red bull
    3. Aldi Energy Drink (this is actually good and cheap)
    4. Monster (basically sugary drink at this point)
    5. V
    • I just can’t stand the taste (black can with green writing) It tastes like pot pouri. I might as well make tea out of my grandma’s undies.

Based on their flagship product tasting so bad, there’s no way I’ll try their less popular flavours

      • +2

Original is putrid. All the others are top notch; particularly white (sugar free), rosa (sugar free), mango, guava.

      • +1

        I hate the black.
Ultra Zero or Rosa (the white or pink) are nice and sugar free.

  • so sad amazon doesn't stock mango, sunrise ultra is never in stock and ginger mule isn't part of the discounts.

  • +1

Thanks OP, back at this price if anyone missed it
