Only because of the eBay $10 subsidy, so originally $13.

Lol….yes, I bought two @$3 ……that 30pin cable is super chunky…..I've never seen such a thick USB cable.

Notwithstanding that the charger is very good quality.

Mine just arrived today. I got it for $3 on the eBay Plus deal. And my god. this thing is HUGE, its almost the size of my 61w MacBook charger and the box says 2012 on it and it came with the ancient 30 pin cable in the box, such outdated stock and definitely not worth it for $10, maybe at $3.
Here is a picture of it next to my 61W MacBook charger https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/354528/89367/72593a67-…

  • Hahaha @jayboi I thought the exact same thing. The damn charger is huge when I took it out of the box this morning. The cable is useless.

6 years ago this charger was already on clearance for $16, definitely not Worth $10 now

  • I bought one during the sale for $3 after the voucher. Hadn't noticed it came with a cable….. anyhow, I actually bought one of these years ago. Other than being cheap, the other reason I got another is it's a decent quality charger and handy to power a couple of usb driven things like esp8266 sensor nodes (https://esphome.io/) etc using one power socket. No way in heck would I bother using it to charge a phone or tablet released in the past few years though.

  • Hey guys, If I am charging two devices at once, do I get 2.1 amps in each port simultaneously, or 2.1 amps total across both of the ports? Cheers.
