I don't need it. Thanks to the op, what I did:

    ( ) Let it go
    (X) purchased without needing it
    ( ) pretended I didn't see it

Thanks op. My wallet hates u.

      I did the same thing!

      Me.

    • me too … now I need to convince my wife at home why we need this

    • lol dammit…

I actually need a new keyboard - turns out that rushing B site, holding down W key ends up wearing out the switch on my keyboard… sigh… it double presses all the time now. Oh well enjoy your superfluous keyboard - I'll try not to be late to the party next time :D

Thanks for the share. Would purchase but the TUF Gaming logo kills it for me. Great price for a mechanical keyboard.

its brown - its written right there……….

although by your logic I shouldnt have answered because

      Cant read…….Don't reply

      • What do the brown switches feel like??? I love the feel of a mechanical but hate the noise.

        • Tactile.

        • you probably heard blues.. clicky feeling but loud as hell. browns are a little "tactile" but quiet.

        • Cherry MX Brown
With a tactile actuation, they are slightly louder than a linear due to the extra friction at the tactile bump. You'll basically hear the bump and the bottoming out on each keystroke, but it will not be quite as loud as a clicky option.

I think he means "which brand". Not all switches are made equal, and the brand makes a lot of difference as to whether this is a good deal or not.

Some description of the switches are provided here

        Probably of their own manufacture.

        • They're good switches. This KB uses Kailh browns

Rofl. "Can't read don't reply" = Take your own advice.

Which brand of switch makes a big difference. "Brown" is only so vaguely useful. "Brown kailh" "cherry brown" means something. Inferior browns don't feel the same.

Failed attempt at a funny pun on my username, then.

You didnt ask for brand champ - you asked for which switch.

          • -2

@Fergy1987: A switch is only defined when both brand and colour are described.

Anyway, this is circular. Have a good day.

@justtoreply: I'm with you on this. Anyone can call their switches brown - doesn't mean anything. First thing I did when I saw this deal was search for the switch brand.

The only reason I was prepared to buy a Kogan mechanical keyboard was because it had branded switches.
