I bought the Truefree 2's late last year as a cheapie alternative to the airpods and find them really good. they fit and secure to the ear really well with the 'fin' thingos. I'd highly recommend them if youre after something cheapish in this price range

  • Better than true air 2?

    • +1

I have both true air 2 better for call

      • And for music? I don't use for call. My edifier has died.

Around the same, I prefer true air 2 more but make sure you are OK with semi in-ear not fully isolate noise like Truengine 3, etc.

  • Are the SoundPEATS TrueBud better than SoundPEATS TrueAir2 Wireless Earbuds?

  • Thinking of grabbing a new pair or earphones…
off-topic but I got the Trueair2 recently, like a week or two ago, and they started having occasional light white noise. anyone know how to deal with this? It's only a bit annoying. The bigger problem is sometimes they become really quiet and i have to turn my phone to max volume to hear (and then can't hear if i'm somewhere noisy) and the only way to get it back to normal is to reset them from the charging case. Anyone know how to deal with this issue?

    • Contact Amazon chat to see what the say

    • If you got them from AMR, contact them they are great with support.

    • they started having occasional light white noise. anyone know how to deal with this?

I had this from the start with mine (assuming you are talking about a light hiss or similar). AMR support said to reset, tried it but it didn't fix it.

Never had the volume issue but I haven't used them that much as I didn't find them comfortable.

      • yeah the hiss. it doesn't interfere with my podcasts and such but it's a bit annoying when i'm not listening to anything but have them in. They've offered a partial refund but i'm more concerned about the noise dropping low randomly. It's back to normal now though so i'm confused whether to accept it >.>

  • 3.5 hrs per charge is a deterrent for me. I’ve had Panasonic wireless earbuds for sometime which have similar, and now won’t consider anything less than 8-10hr per charge for my next pair.

    • are there earbuds this size with that sort of battery life? or do you have to go with hook-style (like beats powerbeats pro)?

Soundpeats themselves do 7.5-10 hours for the above model, depending on whether ANC is enabled or not.
Creative, Taotronics etc. also do a variety of earbuds with longer battery life options.
I find there's such a glut of different "products" from certain brands, it almost feels intentional on the part of the brand to confuse the consumer or complicate comparison.

Nonetheless I'll take the time and due diligence and make an informed decision either way, but can't hack the 3.5hr options personally.

Hm the T2 look good - reviews say they fit better than the Truengine SE that I have. Am more than happy with the sound but the design just doesn't sit in my ear securely. I can squeeze em in as hard as possible and still have them fall out sooner or later, so there's no confidence there.

Good luck with your eventual search

Edit: T2 looks sold out. Soundpeats seem to have new models coming out every couple of minutes though, be interesting to see what the options are by xmas / end of this year

  • I'm seeing this as a lightning deal now?

    $50.14 Prime FREE Delivery
    Apply 30% coupon

    So, $35.09*

It's not expired! It's cheaper than originally posted ($41.29)

    • It is a significant price drop and the deal now is better than the price in this post, and so this post is expired. When the current post expires and the price returns to $41.29, we can un-expire this post.

      • Lol, so moderators now take users comments and make their own deal posts?

        Enjoy your 15 mins

        • No, I discovered the deal on my own. I did not see your comment until after I submitted my deal.

          • @alvian: 👏 of course you did, of course

            • @nismo: Extra 30% off seems to have expired but the $50.14 lightning deal is still on, so this post is still expired.

  • H1 has just come out too which look awesome on paper. Can't wait to test them. But double the price. If you haven't claimed your 40% offer that you may have got with other soundpeats purchases (the card is in the earphone box) you may be able to use it on the H1. They sent me a unique code to claim. Mine should be coming tomorrow

    • Yeah, $120 before any discount is a bit too steep for me. Will be keeping an eye on it though

      • Cost me $53.99 with the 40% off discount. So was a good deal. They did ask for a pic of the earbuds I had and the 40% off card (Truengine 3)
