Not as good as the upcoming Ryzen version, though 1135g7 feels snappy in day to day use. And this model has good thermal according to notebookcheck

  • how would this go playing older games, such as league of legends?

    • +1

Although probably capable of running the game, I would not recommend this laptop at all. It belongs at this price point without being 'on-sale'

Look for one with a GTX 1650-1660.

A few have been circulating at this price & also with 16GB RAM.

      Goodluck

    • Would run it fine on lower settings

The onboard graphics is pretty capable

    • Plenty of stuff on YouTube showing what you can expect from i5-1135G7.

    8gb ram whyyyyy

    • Good for browsing and most office tasks. Not good for enthusiasts like yourself

I have 32gb on my X1 Yoga, so understand your sentiment lol

      • +4

a laptop that costs half as much as this is also good for "browsing and most office tasks".

There's really no excuse for any laptop over $1000 or so to not include 16gb RAM.

(posting this from my X1 Yoga at work with only 8gb ram…considering getting an Inspiron 13 7306 2-in-1 to replace it…)

        • This is a mid-high tier Lenovo with good screen, keyboard and overall build quality. Consider any 1135g7 laptop would cost $800+, paying some extra for better UX is worthwhile for many.

We have an Inspiron 13 7348 still in service. The logic board was replaced twice under warranty. If I were to buy another low end Dell ever again, I'd consider paying for extended warranty lol

      • 16GB ram is not just a requirement for enthusiasts my dude.

    https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/education/laptops/thinkpad/thin… 13" alternative $1,169.10

Note there's a 5850u model coming out for around $1300 and a 5650u for around $1k soon if you can hold out, ETA 3 months according to my Lenovo rep

    • it looks like for 50 extra dollars this one is better, bigger screen 512 ssd instead of 256 and better battery

  • Is this an ultrabook? That's the only way this could be this expensive with these specs

    • And yet you've upvoted it. Curious.

  • Brightness?

    • +1

Display: 14 Inch FHD (1920x1080) IPS 300nits Glossy, 72 percent NTSC

  • 8GB ram in 2021 (excluding ARM machines) is something to look out for those that multitask a lot

    https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/yoga-slim-…
Yoga Slim 7i Carbon is a better deal for those who want a lighter machine. Except they only have 1 fan in comparison to 2 on this post. Also have 16gb RAM

    • Is this 2 in 1?

      • no. Regular 13 inch laptop
