    • Good man.

    • Lucky you caught it just in time. How are you finding it?
I would have pulled the trigger but it's a bit odd that they went with 8x SATA and 2x NVME, other boards in the price bracket are 4x SATA and 3x NVME. Otherwise looks good.

      • I was on the market for a decent board. Already have x570 tomahawk but did not served my purpose but the asus one works flawlessly.

        • +1

Just out of curiosity, what does the tomahawk not do that the Asus one does for your use?

          • @Dealzallday: Mining. The tomahawk pcie does not let me use more than two no matter what setting i try. It was such a headache. Even two was difficult due to gpu width clearance. Bought asus to try it just one go, settings simple as.
Just before anyone says something, i paid scalpers price to get gpu so think before commenting.

            • @Cmaz: Hahaha no you're all good, don't worry about people complaining. I've tried mining with my 3070 and a 3060 on my MSI x570 no issues but it's good that you managed to get what you needed!

              • @Dealzallday: Yeah as i said two card were fine but more than that was a headache no way i could get it running. Tried drivers, bios, settings far out.
When i got the asus board, the setup was fairly easy and after installing windows all 5 ports are working i feel bad since i had so high hopes about tomahawk but it let me down.

  • hold up it's active chipset cooling? is it noisy/point of failure?

  • HT has a bunch of other Asus boards on discount as well. B550-E is $211 @ HarrisTech on eBay after coupon, better alternative if you're not keen for a fan/don't need the PCI-e lanes.

  • It's uncanny that I buy things and then a day later they pop up on ozbargain for $100+ cheaper

  • I stupidly bought the X570-F on the weekend from Amazon for $298.. would have loved all those extra usb ports, POST led diagnostic, wifi 6, 2.5gb lan, etc..

    Doh!

    • You could return the mobo if it was from Amazon and get this!

  • I have the X570-F would recommend the -E no issues :)
