      There are many items that the discount code works for them even if not in the list. I managed to use it to order baby car seat which i couldn't find looking at the retails/categories items.

      i reckon they get repriced around the 550-600 mark on the second model and likely reduced to there before then. they were definitely taking advantage of the apple acolytes (fair enough, sell it where people will buy it) but i suspect it will have pretty poor sales going forward at current RRP (considering you can't even take advantage of the upgraded codecs on Apple music with these headphones LOL)

                    @langitbiru: I can confirm that you can pay pretty much all of the balance with gift cards, but the process is very flaky…

                    I had $9.40 left to pay via afterpay on a $309.40 item. I used 2 x $100 gift cards, and 5 x $20 gift cards, plus the afterpay code.

                    It took a good 10 to 15 minutes, as I kept getting errors, or the codes removed from the cart.

                    I kept swapping to 'visa' then back to 'afterpay' payment method several times.

                    When swapping back to afterpay, sometimes the giftcards wouldn't show up anymore, sometimes they showed up. I would unclick the afterpay code, and they show up, click the afterpay code and they sometimes go away, other times they stayed.

                    I went about 10 times through the afterpay hoop with the $9.40 left, and it came back to the ebay page as 'an error occurred, please try again later'.

                    I did one full cart empty, and reload all codes, and then several more errors later, I eventually got the payment to go through.

                    Payment said 'Payment processing' on the ebay page you get immediately after payment.

                    I then checked afterpay, and it showed the correct amount, and repayments. I then rechecked ebay, and it had moved to 'Processed by Afterpay'.

                      @metalslaw: I bought an item worth 450$, applied 350$ gift card + 15%off from the voucher code, still remaining 20$ left on the cart and successfully placed an order.
                      No error, no problem.
                      It might depend on the seller as well, I reckon.

    Trying to buy the Esatto 7kg Heat Pump Dryer from appliances online and can't get the code to work for the life of me, tried logging in and out of afterpay etc, just won't accept the code. It's in the list of things included in the discount as per their search.

    Seems to happen every time with eBay with these codes

    Can someone explain difference between google tv and normal chromecast? Is google tv essentially chromecast with a remote?

      So, google TV has an interface and a remote to go with it. And it offers Chromecast.

      Chromecast is merely a device you plug in that enables you do stream content from your phone to your TV.

      Google TV is more feature full and offers its own media interface and OS - it's more of an NVIDIA Shield rather than just a chromecast

      Yep.
      One due essentially immediately and then the three following fortnights after that. But you can pay them in advance so set up the afterpay and then pay out the whole lot if you wanted to.

          Mine came today and it's definitely a factory 2nd. Box is in damaged condition, all accessories were there but there is a slight scratch on the device. The screen is brighter up the top of the device in portrait mode (left in horizontal), I'm not sure if it's damaged or not because the screen still gets plenty bright, but when you turn the brightness all the way down there is definitely a lot more light coming from the top… Let me know how you go, I might be asking for a refund

    Just got a Corsair RGB 32GB 3600MHz RAM for ($299) - brought the cost down to $254 after using AfterPay code, then using 7 ebay GC's, further to $28. So only I only went through checkout at $28. It took a bunch of trial and error - $100 GC didn't work but smaller denominations like $50 did.
