    Seems to show/include:
    * Original
    * Hot & Spicy
    * Nuggets
    * Tenders

Can we demand a bucket as full as those shown in the video, or do they have a false bottom?

    • +39

I'll be wishing I had a false bottom after eating all this

KFC Doesn't process the chickens, they get it from suppliers.

    • +25

Since you're a vegan, would you have considered the deal if they were more polite to the dead chickens?

    • +4

      Nobody cares.

      • +1

That can be read two ways. And both ways are correct. ;-D

        • Haha. Was thinking the same thing ;)

    • +2

lol props for trying I guess

    • +6

For every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat 3.

      • +1

Not sure how the maths works out on that one

      • -8

You're going to be really fat if you're having all of the meat that you'd be eating anyway, plus 3 x the imaginary amount you've made up that this person doesn't eat. Is it just this one person's animals you're eating, or do you do this for others as well? Going to be especially fat if you eat their animals as KFC.

      • 3 x 0 animals = No more KFC for you🤣

I'm sure most here are willing to kill, gut & prepare a live animal for themselves to eat..

I highly doubt it.. Yet their willing to defame you for your standpoint!

      Ironic hey..

      • +1

I grew up on a farm. I can describe in detail the process for killing and preparing animals for eating. It's not exactly rocket science.

        • -4

My point being "willing" not "able", huge difference mate.. U missed the point i was trying to make..

      • +2

I have done. What’s your point.

        • -1

no point, just sticking up for the underdog!

What's your point! You just entered the thread to add this?

        • +5

There is no point. It's a 100% nonsense throwaway statement. We could just as easily require the fanatics raise their own rubber plantation to make their car tyres or else they can't own a car, or, have to mine and smelt their own steel to make a bicycle or have to walk everywhere the rest of their lives.

It's just convenient (and commonsense) not everyone in society can do everything themselves. People trade their time and/or skills in one area, to earn money, which pays for others' skills in other areas.

The foolishness of the statement aside, most people cannot legally raise and butcher their own animals. But if it were legal, and required on an individual basis in order to eat meat, the vast majority would learn within the first week. (I detest washing dishes but I still have to because no-one else will come do it for me.) But with meat, someone else WILL/DOES do it for us, and we do things they don't want to do.

Finally, in spite of their claims, it's a known fact most of them preach publicly while cheating privately. So it's rare to find a real vegan/vegetarian, and even rarer to find one who isn't lying. They either lie about never cheating, resort to products that resemble meat because they can't silence the craving for it, or they simply mature out of it.

The few that don't, spend their time making up silly illogical statements like we've just seen.

          • -1

@[Deactivated]: & funnily enough you make the presumption i'm Vegan, lol..

Comparing other industries like you have ie; Rubber plantation & smelting etc is the same as taking a life away? Just goes to show the callousness some ppl posses..

            • -1

@Bunsen: LOL whether you are or not is irrelevant. The fact remains it IS an infantile and ill-though-out point, which is often heard from vegans/animal 'rights' folk. I was referring to that fact. (As is "funnily enough, etc", as if that somehow negates my points. It doesn't.)

Someone working in a bank all day or driving a taxi can't finally arrive home home at 7pm in Melbourne traffic and butcher a chicken or rabbit on their apartment balcony. Not without police being called by the person in the apartment below them due to the blood dripping onto their bonsai. So this whole: "if you want to eat it you should have to kill it" 'argument' is complete nonsense.

What is 'funny' though, is you're supposedly not a vegetarian/vegan, yet elevate a chicken or cow to the same level as human life just as they do. More nonsense. As I've said elsewhere, some say it's cruel, 'inhuman', to kill a soulless animal… but then screech like a wounded banshee if someone dares suggests not aborting… an actual human. (If you want to talk callousness, there's hypocrisy at its lowest IQ bracket.)

    • +2

Good on you, but most of us looking for juicy, crunchy, tasty fried chicken at the cheapest price possible in this post.

    • Gonna say that you haven't.

    • Can’t wait for tomorrow to eat this. I feel a lot better knowing every KFC chicken is killed in the traditional Islamic way,
I think to myself how th’bok you gonna strap a backpack to a chicken?

  • +5

    How many pieces per bucket?

    • +21

      ate

  • +2

okay, in the video I counted 5 or 6 pieces of chicken then 8 or 9 wings

Tenders and nuggets didn't bother counting; But tenders are always much smaller than the promo photo ones so with a set the number of pieces per bucket it's probably less than this promo looks

    • Yeah I forgot about how you get the skinniest tenders ever.

If someone hasn't tried a tender before and they get a promo pack, it probably puts them off ever ordering tenders in the future

I really lucky once, ordered 18 nuggets, they were out so asked me if they could replace them with tenders. Freshest ones I've ever had and they were so good, couldn't believe they gave me that many also.

  • +4

They call it a buckette themselves.

Unless it fits 6 decent pieces it's no better than 9 for $10.

    • how do you get 9 pieces for $10?

        • +1

sigh i think the best deal is the 4 pieces for $6.95 through the app and then stack with free drink and chips

      • +1

        Go to Queensland.

    • It’s only 5 pieces for $8 iirc.

We had better be careful this new Buckette deal doesn’t kill / replace the 9 pieces for $9.95 Tuesday only deal that only seems to happen about once a year if we are lucky.

      • You should go to the all you can eat KFC in Tokyo when COVID dies down. They also have all you can drink alcomohol too.

Need more info on amounts and pieces included before I upvote or not. Will be interesting to see how it compares to “add on” and “build a bucket” pricing.

    • Now that it’s been revealed, it’s decent pricing enough for an upvote, especially for strips. Probably the best value of them all. Only 24 nugs / 9 OR for $9.95 is better value, but they aren’t always available.

      • Not the best deal according to calories. i.e. The bone pieces shows as more calories than the strips, so there has to be more meat on them (unless they're counting the calorific weight of the bones, which wouldn't surprise me with marketers involved lol).

  • +2

Deliberately deceptive video. No way to easily tell how big the bucket is. But reply it a few times and you see it is small. Looks about the size of an average take away coffee. Might get two pieces of chicken and half a dozen nuggets.

  • +9

    From memory, its (Tuesday Only):
    18 Nuggets +3 sauces
    8 Wicked wings
    5 Original recipe pieces
    10 Tenders

    • I doubt that. You can tell this is a tiny bucket. The bucket is no taller than the length of that drumstick.

      • +6

It’s 4 different buckets at $8ea. Not all of that for $8 lol fool

        • -5

If it was the size of the proper bucket it would have fit all that. They have clearly bastardised the name bucket to include this toddler sized rip off. $8 for 5 pieces is NOT any bargain. And the video is deliberately misleading as well.

          • +1

            @Foxxster: Hence Buckette?

            I'm happy with 10 tenders for $8, or 18 nugs for $8

          • +3

@Foxxster: Hahahah if you not happy then don’t buy it champ 😂😂

            • -4

@[Deactivated]: I won’t be, and it appears I am not alone on that. Seems like an epic FAIL champ.

          • +2

@Foxxster: Not sure how $8 for 5 pieces isn't good. That's $1.60 per piece. The next closest is the $6.95 4 piece add-on in the app which = $1.74 per piece.

And surely it's not the size of a cup with 5x bone pieces of chicken in it. Even 5x drumsticks wouldn't fit in a coffee cup. Not without putting them through a blender first anyway lol.

    • +2

Worth it for wings (barely) and tenders.

      • +4

It's one of them not all.

        • -7

make sense, then it is not a deal for me,maybe 18 wings, but if a bucket can fit in 18 wings will be too small for 18 nuggets or 10 tenders

      • It's 8 wings not 18…

    • That can't be right, too good to be true

I saw the banner outside of my local kfc, but didn't have time to take a photo, and no other info on it unfortunately

  • Not enough details to be a deal.

    • +1

    • +2

It would be cruel to eat them alive

  • +1

if only it was the 21 pieces bucket

    • Yep, there is only one true bucket. This is the toddlers version.

  • The bucket looks the same size as the 50 pieces of popcorn chicken, which were crap and small.

    • You wouldn’t be able to fit 5 OR or 10 strips in those buckets. The bucket they are using for this is probably around half the size of the 21 piece bucket.

      • +1

No, it comes in the $10 popcorn bucket.

  • So bucket = "buckette" = cup.

  • Is there a bucket limit though?

Looking at 6 for the extended family

  • +2

    5pce for $8 WTF?

    • +1

It’s currently $6.95 for 4 as an add on or $9.95 / $12.95 / $15.95 for 6 / 9 / 12 pieces in the “build your own bucket” menu. $1.60 per piece isn’t too bad. It seems the 9 for $9.95 is very rarely offered nowadays.

      • +4

Ahh sorry we have $9.95 for 9 every Tuesday here in Qld so that’s why I thought this deal is no good

        • +1

Yeah those further down south don’t have that everyday, that’s awesome!

          • @melbourne guy: When was the last time they had the 9 pieces for $9.95 in Victoria? I’m 100% sure they had it in 2019 but can’t recall seeing it 2020. We usually only get it once or twice a year on Tuesdays only and the offer is about four weeks before being withdrawn.

It used to be much more common in the past.

        • +2

That 9 for $9.95 in QLD Is being discontinued after this week.

        • It is $10.95 for the last year. When was the last time you went??

          • @cakesyy: I never go I send the mrs to get it hahaha

          • @cakesyy: Had it last night and it was still $9.95 for 9 and I asked is this finishing and they said no it’s a regular thing all the time

  • +1

    Crappy deal

  • 5 pieces of chicken in a Go Bucket?
No deal for me, $1 per WW is pretty standard.
9 pieces for $10 is where it's at.

  • +3

Should the descriptions have more 'or' in it..
    5 pieces of chicken (or)?
    8 wicked wings (or)?
    10 tenders or
    18 nuggets.
