KFC just launched their Pokemon like game, you can go hunting KFC prizes and most likely get a free ultimate box for your first time, some got slushies etc :)

The first bucket will be available around you with first play. Just pan your camera around to find the red big spot, tap tap tap it then spin spin spin for a free win ^_^
Can stack up to 3 prizes at a time and each will expire in 72hrs: gonna do lot of walking for free KFC prizes lol

    Being a Friday, looks like the app is going down down down. I've already placed my order for the 15pc bucket expiring tonight!

    App seems to be going down guys. Flip the coin isnt working for me. Anyone else as well?

      It's been fully bugged for me since 12pm or so.
      Had a slider stuck in my stash I can't discard. Endless loading. Swapped phones and then it was a frozen mountain dew stuck in my stash. Actually let me discard it. Went to redeem my bucket which expires in 4hrs but wouldn't load. Got out of it and have a frozen mountain dew stuck in my stash again! Swapped phones back, same issue. Go away mountain dew freeze, nobody likes you…

      In saying that, I just tried again and had to discard some chips and it let me redeem my bucket finally!

        Should have saved up your experience rather spin them straight away. Just don't click the enter experience button and click elsewhere you can save the spins for later. I can collect like 10 spins in 3 min. Not sure about the max spins you can stash, but if you delete your account you loose them.

        If you get the spins on a device that works with fake gps. You can use the spins on devices that don't work with fake gps.

            @BartholemewH: Its much easier to collect the bucket via virtual teleportation, rather than wandering the streets aimlessly at 11pm at night. Few the participants on at that time the better the prizes.

            Plus you can avoid localized bucket shortages.

            As for stashing up spins, generally the more buckets there are the better the prizes. There are no buckets because there are no more prizes available to be won at that time.

            @tlai: The AR or fake AR bucket spin when you come close to a bucket on the map. Its definitely a feature of the game otherwise they wouldn't have designed the database to store all the buckets you have collected and not spun yet.

    From my experience from using the app.

    Don’t bother trying to swap between accounts from 12pm-8pm, as due to so many people on the app, it is hella laggy and results in no email verification code. During this time it is just laggy in general cuz lunch/dinner time and the millions of school kids trying to order something for free after school.

    If you are gps spoofing, try to do it after 8pm as well as it is soooo much smoother, especially around 12am or after, its literally fast.

    For redeeming, make sure you checkout with the prize on the first time you press ‘redeem now’ or else it may bug out and it will charge you for the order if you press ‘redeem now’ then come back coulle hours later to a refreshed app that won’t allow you to either add the redeemed item to your order (as you’ve already ‘redeemed’ something that day’) and after the daily reset, the discount may not go through.

    Also for coin flips, I have been keeping track of which results in what, and there’s normally some pattern like HHHHTTHHHTTT, so it may be worth it to just write H/T on a piece of pper beside you while gps spoofing (I literally watch netflix while gps spoofing this, its an easy task and doesn’t require much/any concentration).

    Also word of advice, DO NOT have kfc 11 consecutive days or else you WILL get fat (speaking from experience lol). If you have any other questions feel free to ask below, sorry if all this has been said before, I really didn’t want to read through 12 pages of people complaining about the app lol.

        i normally go to my near local kfc. its a shopping centre and the buckets just pop up everywhere. dont go cbd as most of the time the buckets will get taken by players already there.

      3pc Box Meal or 3pc Tender?
      The 3pc Box meal is a great deal at $11.95. Its probably the best food prize after the 15pc Bucket. I had scored two 3pc Box Meals, so decided to flip one, hoping to get $50 or $200 GiftCards based on comments in this thread. Instead, I scored a 15pc Bucket on the Flip :) Have an Ultimate Box as well, expiring tonight. Not flipping it though.

      The 3pc Tender with one dip is overpriced at $6.95. Also, the tenders size has kapt on reducing and its hardly a fill now.

      Always flip! Eventually you get sick of eating KFC that you want anything above a 15pc bucket. The 3 piece feed and Ultimate boxes are good for lunch or whatever if you really feel like it but once you've had it every other day, you start playing the game for the bigger prizes and they seem to mostly come from flipping.

      Yes, I got this too, yesterday and when I tried to flip it, went into infinite glitch. It locked me out of my Bucket Stash not allowing me to redeem anything. Had to win something else by spinning another bucket and then "discarding" the new prize to stop the loop.

    Anyone that's got a non food prize got the email to claim it? Got a $50 EFTPOS card about a week ago and still no confirmation email for it. Just says claimed in the app. T's & C's seem to say it will take a week but still nothing….

          Maybe just protecting the ap ordering process itself at peak hour. Marketing may be feeling a bit tender themselves if their promo has been crashing normal operations.

            @tonka: Haha yes. The usual disconnect between Marketing and "IT". It could mean a lot of negative reviews for their App if the app continues to function as its doing now.

            Given that the Great Buckethunt is an App-Only promotion, maybe the marketing team itself had a goal to increase app downloads and increase user accounts. However, they might face flak if it doesnt work well.

Even there is a turn, it always failed. Never seen it so bad before since launched. Literally no prizes in 20+ buckets

        The app is hands down one of the most poorly developed & buggy pieces of software I have ever used. Not sure how in this modern age of technology, apps and websites on phones in particular are gradually performing worse and worse in general, and you need a $1500 flagship phone to run a simple fast food app. I really hope KFC have been getting hammered by GPS spoofers and people on multiple devices just as payback for their inability to develop a simple app for a promotion.

        The recent ChopseCBR vouchers shenanigans also come to mind - absolute waste of time.
