KFC just launched their Pokemon like game, you can go hunting KFC prizes and most likely get a free ultimate box for your first time, some got slushies etc :)

The first bucket will be available around you with first play. Just pan your camera around to find the red big spot, tap tap tap it then spin spin spin for a free win ^_^
Can stack up to 3 prizes at a time and each will expire in 72hrs: gonna do lot of walking for free KFC prizes lol

      Best thing to do is to just claim. You have to wait the 24 hours regardless if you claim it or not. You can't even get new ones to replace it as it is set as redemption.

        Yup, the timer is apparently kicking in on the "First Tap of Redeem", irrespective of you actually completing the order or not.

    Seriously it's a useless app. I already have an account but it didn;t let me login. Keep asking for a code sent to an email, where I didn't receive any code not even under spam, clutter, trash you name it. Tried 10 times.

    Tried to create a new account with a new password, again same story. It says two factor auth and enter the code sent to the email. Didn't receive any.

    However, I receive their marketing email without a miss.. spot on KFC!!

      It is shit. You can request password reset without having access to the email address first. They are probably sending so many verification codes that it gets really slow at busy times.

          I find the iOS version works slightly better compared to the android one. Sometimes I cant login in on android but can on iOS.

      Everytime I log out, I have to reset the password to get back in. Hit and miss if they send the code or not…. terrible app that's for sure

    So, I'm confused again. I already have 3 prizes in my stash. I won a Zinger Burger today, which I would like to redeem straightaway (as I haven't redeemed anything yet today), still it wont let me tap on Redeem in the Browser Window. Why? I am forced to replace one of the items in my stash, but my plan was to retain all of them, and use Zinger straightaway.

    Anyone knows anything about this ?

      You can ONLY redeem something in your stash, so you have to add first.

        Is it so? The why does 'Redeem' button appear when u win the prize? As per T&C:

        If after spinning the virtual bucket you reveal a KFC food prize, you will be given the opportunity to either save your prize in your Bucket Stash in the App for 72 hours or redeem it immediately. If you choose to save your prize in your Bucket Stash, you may choose to flip the Colonel's coin in the App to win a different prize. You must select either heads or tails. If you win, (i.e. you select heads or tails and it lands on your chosen side) you will receive a prize of equal or greater value. The prize can be a food, non-food or cash (awarded as an eftpos card) prize (excluding the Golden Bucket cash prizes (minor Golden Bucket Prize awarded as an eftpos card) and the AFL/NRL/Ashes experience prizes)).

          The game also says 24 hours per redeem, yet everyone here has had it reset at times earlier AND later. There is only supposed to be 3 slots in your stash, yet people have had 4 and even 5.

          You can't always trust what it says

        I just tested this, the redeem is only available if you have a spot in your stash and if you havent redeemed anything in the past 24 hours.

        So it is not possible for you to redeem the 4th prize AND keep the 3 in your stash.

      I think all slot glitches are the result of adding the same item multiple times and not ending up putting in the order. I got glitched down to two slots.

      Each time I clear the cache and sign back in it will tell me ultimate box expired. I actually had two of them expire. Any prizes I win vanish. Last slot is always empty.

      Deleted account, signed up using same details freed up my last slot, and it was filled with the first item that failed to fill the slot.

      Got the starter free spin, and won an ultimate box, now always stuck in your stash is too full state.

    Just won my first 15 pieces from a wild KFC bucket i was hoping it wouldn't bug out and lose the prize and after a while i nervously tapped add to stash and it was in there!

      Nope. You may order only when the store is open, and you may collect it anytime until store close time.

      Also, note that ordering in the app stops 60 minutes prior to the store close time. However, u may order at T - 61 minutes, and then collect in store anytime in the next 61 minutes.

        We ordered the other night in the app with under 60mins to store closure (would have been 45 or so). Order went thru fine but said the store was closed so didn't have the "I'm in the restaurant" button. Collected the order fine though, just had to tell them which name when we got there

    I had redeemed a Zinger Stacker yesterday around 12:30PM AEST (after the app allowed me to release my horses at 12:00 PM AEST). Much like earlier days, even after redeeming and completing the order, the prize still showed 'Pending Redemption', for the whole day even when I checked late at night around 01:00 AM AEST.

    Now, in the morning, as I check around 08:45 AM AEST, the Prize is showing as available again, with the timer counting down (from it's original time) - so got about 37 hours more to 'Redeem'. On tapping the Prize, I still get the 'Redeem' button, but haven't tapped on Redeem as it will register the tap and lock me out for the next "24 hours".

    My question - will I be able to redeem the same prize again? Or will it eventually appear as full price at Checkout? I've got other prizes, so could might has well use them (without losing the day or 24 hours, if I try to redeem the same Zinger Stacker again) - but too tempted to "give it up".

      I had the same glitch with a 15 piece bucket. I worked out if you don't receive an order confirmation email after redeeming your prize you'll be able to redeem it again the next day given the timer doesn't expire

    Yay, REDEEMED & got Free Zinger, (foolishly redeemed at 9:45am waited in carpark till 10a opening).

    OK, getting better at App - seems to use Google Maps which ignores/hates private roads/property - cause Google car rarely drives into - means car parks too.

    Therefore seems to overly rely on the camera view to move your red viewing cone on the map, so V slow and way behind where you actually are.

    If you DON'T get the beware of cars etc. to click [Fair Enough] backspace out and re-enter Hunt thru app.

    While Red Dot AR experience is loading I still move phone slowly left-right for camera to help it choose a spot.

    I actually spin bucket left-right - app seems to want right-left, still works.

    Better at or near KFC - mentioned in their blurb - I used in car park after getting my burger got 4 buckets nearby & 2 further out - if nothing shows up might be better backspace out or Close & Re-Open app again - the [Fair Enough] click seems essential to Hunt.

    Hope next redeems OK - might be 'cause that first was an actual order + free prize that the teller didn't key-in.

    BTW yes wrapped paper straws are in a open metal box on far side of counter - sorry 1st guy for whining about on OzB.

    Got a new KFC nearby :- love the black or red barstools, lit up red Col tie inside, lots of double USB sockets & open 10am-10pm too.

    Also off-topic Series S now $429 at Big W think it may be delivery but click & collect - dunno - remember to sign-in online to collect Woolies Rewards for. Target has same price but no home delivery - Only click & collect (physical anti-scalping measure? maybe photo-ID required?) IF your local store still exists that is.

      Nah I think it varies. Was like that for a while, could predict what it would be by "burning" a low value item and using the next spin on a good one.
      Mine has been alternating each spin pretty often lately though.

        Tried alternating at start - finally received some actual Chicken (1st was Frozen Pepsi, 2 x chips, nuggets & chips, 2 sliders, 'nother nuggets & chips and best yet Zinger Burger) so gave up in last 3 goes - trying All Tails (drumstick), I assume there's no better prize bias for Colonel's Head?

      Also seems like you get a different item based on where you spin the bucket.
      If I spin it at the Freeze, pretty much always get a freeze/chips. Spin it at the chicken/burger and get chicken. I always spin to the right too

        How do you recommend reheating? Defrost first or straight in the oven/air fryer/deep fryer?
        I usually don't have so much that I have to freeze it, in the oven from the fridge with any normal left overs

      $2 a piece crunchy Red Rooster is pretty good too - bit overally crunchy, you can taste the Brine (slightly) they soak it in for hours?

        Their actual chicken is disgusting, so are the nuggets, tenders, and popcorn chicken.

        The only stuff I like that they have are the fillets (and original/zinger burger equivalents), wicked wings, chips, rolls, and the mash/gravy is okay.

          For at least 20 years we bought Potato & Gravy and Coleslaw as sides - turns out no-one actually liked the Coleslaw - just no-one complained.

          Popcorn's not bad - we Always buy Wicked Wings (oily, but dried better - box is less oily too) instead of the V low amount of wings in pieces. Sliders are Ok - cheap and a bit meaty.

          Bought the Zinger Chipster from Super Secret Menu (only two options - it or the Zinger Triple Stacker) :-

          Twister tortilla with lettuce, cheese,
          Zinger fillet (cut in half), chips and
          supercharged sauce.

          Very meaty, but man that sauce is hot - cheese is in there but hard to spot.

          App has died doing the last 6 bucket spins - notice that AR can be turned off for generic city pic - failed twice after spinning that way too.

          KFC sent a "Where are you - claim a prize right now" in app, tried failed twice again - with those others had 2 red screens of death too.

      Have picked up like that fine before, otherwise it should have emailed you a receipt?

      They definitely can process it after you’ve placed it and before you’ve successfully checked in.

      When you get there they will see it on their screen but wouldn’t have started making/packing it yet because you aren’t checked in. They can do that step for you.

    Thursday Evening and the number of buckets goes down down down down.

    Observed it last week as well. Across Friday, Saturday, Sunday, there were almost no buckets to spin for me. I was guessing if it's got anything to do with the weekend, but still not sure.

    Come Monday, and we were flooded with buckets aplenty.

    Anyone else thinks, its the weekend?

    Locked out of my stash now. I've got bucket overload but the app just loads forever trying to replace something. Same issue when I try to discard it. Can't redeem anything as it keeps trying to select it for replacement.

      Have the same issue, i have like 6-7 slots for some reason and i cant get rid of my current prize as the app takes forever to replace - most likely because of the slot issue. Cant redeeem anything and have a 15pc feed that expires tomorrow :( Is anyone else experiencing this?

      Locked out of the map because I always have a spin owed from the last error but that keeps erroring and repeat..
      Locked out of my stash too (either shows no prizes or continually loads) - at last check I had 4 slots

      Before, when I tried to flip the coin kept flipping for about 2 minutes with no outcome 🤣

      Now I finally have access to my stash two local stores wanted to charge me for my prize

        Thanks for this. I'm glitched out as well. I have "won" a $2 BBQ Slider and it isnt letting me discard the prize. I've got a Zinger Burger expiring in 7 hours, so well by lunch time today. I guess I just need to win something else and then discard it to get access to Bucket Stash.

    Tried to redeem my burger but it wanted to charge me when checking out. I’m all the way to the checkout page where I don’t see any discount applied and wanted to charge me full price. Weird cause it worked the first time with another prize at the same store.

        Got mine to work. Go to the map, and turns out I was in the middle of an experience. Once I spun that, the stash replaced correctly.
