KFC just launched their Pokemon like game, you can go hunting KFC prizes and most likely get a free ultimate box for your first time, some got slushies etc :)

The first bucket will be available around you with first play. Just pan your camera around to find the red big spot, tap tap tap it then spin spin spin for a free win ^_^

      I got the same thing. Actually lost a prize because the app did this multiple times. I had three prizes already but found another bucket. I got to spin then it crapped out. I restarted the app and it came up with do you want to swap a prize. I had no idea what I had just won but decided to swap a crappy frozen drink for whatever it was. So I chose the frozen drink and it was deleted. Then the app crapped out again. The new prize whatever it was never reappeared.,so I now only have two prizes.

      But now we are in lockdown for two weeks , nobody can redeem their prizes anyway. As I doubt kfc qualifies as ESSENTIAL.

          Depends, I wasn't able to get the discounted 3 piece feed for free. Tried 10 different stores over 2 day.

          Ended up with 6 slots due to buggy app.

    Yesterday, none of the prizes I won got saved to my stash:

    are some of the prizes I had won, besides the usual Regular Chips, Pepsi Freeze, Go Nuggets Bucket etc. Has happened to me in the past as well and I have submitted a support request too, but nothing really happens.

    Has anyone been able to get back their prizes using Support Request?

    This app has gone down hill ever since people started getting the golden bucket. App is so much more buggy when trying to load the page to spin, and even if you can get it to load, 99% of the time it will error out. The app was already so shit to begin with and they've gone and made it worse.

      I observed this yesterday (at least for me): Once you Open the App, you can go and view Bucket Map and Bucket Stash ONLY ONCE. If you press back, go to home screen and again attempt to open Bucket Map, it was timing out. Just kill the app, open again and it worked fine. Was very irritating. Also, like I mentioned above, I lost about 16 prizes which I had "won" and "Added to Stash" with app showing no errors - yet they are not in my stash.

    Just got email from the (generic email)

    With new government restrictions in place, we’ve paused the Great Bucket Hunt in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong.

    We’ll be back with more buckets in those areas when it’s safe to do so. And for those in unaffected areas, the hunt continues!

    And remember, you can still get your fried gold fix by ordering on the App and collecting via pick-up, drive-thru or delivery (pheeew!)

    The app is so buggy.. Every time I chase a bucket and get it and press enter experience.. Safari shows me this error “ Oh no! Something went wrong. Please return to the KFC app.” Am I the only one experiencing this? Thanks

      Yep was getting this all day since lunch yesterday and persists to today.

      Even if the magic somehow DOES load, when you try to spin, it instantly errors. IF you can get it to spin, sometimes it just spins for a while and THEN error.

          Prizes are still there, if you have a Facebook sign in, delete account and sign back up and view your stash two times. You see your prizes in the new slots.

          The bug is these prizes are going straight into your stash, so you can't swap out another item.

          Though 30% bucket spin will load, and 30% you get a prize.

    Got a 9pc Chicken for $9.95 coupon. Replaced an existing 3pc Tenders Prize for this.
    Then flipped the 9pc Chicken for $9.95 coupon and won - ended up scoring an Ultimate Box. Not bad.

    I'm currently remediating a bug - got charged full price for a $1 prize.

    My account uses email address [email protected]

    I did notice some issues with the app prior to ordering when I was collecting buckets in the bucket hunt. I would spin to add the price then the app (or web app) would present an error something went wrong / try again etc.

    Anyway soon after, I placed an order. The order in question is 17 Jun @ 1:21 pm.

    In the 2nd screenshot (Order overcharged) you can see the full price in the total, $6.95. Typically if a discount is applied at offer that detail screen shows the full price on the line item but total includes discount.

    There is no way to determine when redeeming the discount that the discount will be applied as discount is not applied until checkout. It was then that I noticed I had been charged full price.

    Please see attachments. Also note in attachment 4 the prize that I unsuccessfully redeemed shows as pending redemption at 3:27pm - which was almost two hours after I had "redeemed" the prize. 

    Also, note on 15 June I redeemed a prize from the stash without issue, and at that time I had no errors when finding prizes.

    App hadn't finished 6 spins in two days, both in stack expired (shoulda checked 'em).

    Worked this morning, spun Tails on Nugget and Chips - got Frozen Mountain Dew (always says Won - 'cause it's something, not zip). Redeemed about 10:40am tried Hunting - last two times been using Opera for Android browser - seems more stable (does Always ask for camera permission then Front or Back - must be a privacy/no cookies setting).

    Found Nuggets & Chips, spun Tails for Double Tender Burger. BUT after redeeming drink still says pending (assume it can't telll, will vanish at 10pm closing And allow redeeming Burger tomorrow after the ordered time today).🤞

    I did order the free drink with a paid Frozen Pepsi so that may have helped with the discount working? Assume app may have occasional discount errors so a paid item on order might help it work?

    Also using PayPal and there have been quite longish delays before the payee accepts it as paid, before.

    I now have 9 prize slots for some reason. Currently have 3x free 15 pieces, 2x free 3 piece boxes, 2x free ultimate boxes, 2x free nugget go buckets, and got a golden bucket this morning.
    I'm so confused but I'm not complaining. Picking up the first bucket tonight!

      There's no point having too many high prized items like this due to only 1 redemption per day. Better to stop once you've gotten 1-2 and continue after you've claimed

        I don't want 30 slots, The app doesn't work properly for me. Whenever I spin the bucket I get an error but the prize get added in a new slot.

      I'm up to 13 slots.
      From my experience, redeem the high end ones as last time I had multiple, one expired and it wiped all the extra slots and went back to nothing. Otherwise you end up having to swap them out if you want to keep the extra slots but it's more hassle than it's worth. I think 5 slots would be good, 2 keepers that you want to claim over the next couple of days and 3 slots for rotation to keep playing.

      I would say so- the order is "registered" in the system and will be available till the store closes (normally 10pm I think)

      Yes, the prize is deemed "redeemed" once you successfully place the order. It vanishes from your stash (most of the times, lol) after you've placed the order (even before Checking-In to the restaurant). So yes, you may do that.

      In fact, after that fiasco when the App went down for about 3 hours on Saturday, 19-June, I place my order in the morning itself (if its something I am certain to redeem, like the 15 pc Bucket) and then walk-in and collect it whenever I want. Worst case, even if the App crashes, you may mention your name and they can action your order.

      Getting the 3rd will be very rare, much like Macca's Monopoly Cards. I wonder if they've deployed analytics to check your past order history, to see how much business you've given them to decide if you deserve a $5K - $50K prize (Golden Bucket). Well, looking at the kind of bugs in the App, it doesn't look likely, but something of that sort would be there, I reckon.

    Is anyone else unable to get new prizes ones the slots are full? I can still spin the bucket and win a prize, but then it disappears with no option to replace an existing prize in the stash.

      Its a known issue. Do you have any slot stating "Pending Redemption" - even after you redeemed the prize? Or did you have such a case yesterday when the slot remained as "Pending Redemption: although you had actually redeemed the prize?

        It happened a few days ago. When I tried to redeem it again the next day, I forgot to turn off adblock so I couldn't add it to the cart, then it disappeared after I reloaded the app. Couldn't redeem anything that day because it said I'd already claimed something even though I hadn't. But that's long expired and gone from the stash.

        I started being able to add new prizes again, but only one of the ones that disappeared came back.

        KFC is still open, can still redeem as you could have technically won it days ago and had it in your stash. They only took the Perth buckets away about 2-3 hours ago so got days before they could potentially reject your order.

    Maybe they're using these NSW and QLD lockdowns to reset stashes and accounts while the buckets are removed. Can't even login now though, just says error.
