You can adjust it on each camera and there is an option to just detect faces. Not perfect by all means of course
I've limited my doorbell to the pathway in front of my door. It means people walking past wont active it. My stick up camera on the front of my house (gives a second view of the approach) only activates when my doorbell is activated.
For the outside ones we've spent time fine tuning the detection area and the location of the cameras.
the couple inside we have not alerting between during the day, just recording.
It's taken repetition, but the last one out of the house 'pauses' the 'notification pause' so the inside ones alert again.

OP, how do you limit getting spammed by notifications? I can only imagine a lot of the time the movements detected would be my own family members, dogs etc, which I don't need to know about.
