  • So is this weather proof?
(ok to put it on top of the car in the rain & keep stuff inside dry?)

    • It's weather resistant but I don't think entirely weather "proof".
Stuff will still eventually get wet if raining heavily enough.

However a very durable but light bag that folds up into a compact size. Took one with me on a recent trip to New York, able to accomodate all the additional purchases one makes with the good exchange rate.

    • Weatherproof, probably. Waterproof, probably not.
It doesn't have a waterproof class rating number or a "g" number so I'd say probably not worth risking it.
Force of rain fall + force of you driving in to it, that can penetrate quite easily. IME anyway.
      Just something to consider.

Hell of a price for a 60L duffel bag none the less.

      • The other solution is to wrap it in a tarp first.

        • +1

          Yeah, that would work.
Kinda defeats the purpose of trying to find a waterproof bag though as a tarp would waterproof anything really. That is the comment we're replying to after all.

    • i have them at home - personally i would not feel comfortable putting them out in the weather
(they are great bags for what we use them for though)
we use them instead of suitcases when we travel (big light bags)
wound be good for a sports team to put equipment in

    • Not hard to make it weather proof if it isnt!

Thanks picked the 60 & 100 up at cannington WA lots in stock also has travel pouch as a bonus

I'd recommend adding "plus shipping" in the title OP, most people won't like that surprise at checkout.

Also, it might be worth putting links in the description to the other colours since they are listed as separate products but have the same price.

    • Thanks — the 140L is good!

  • Great product, I use for camping stuff. I payed full price a while back so will pick up a couple more at this price

    Yeah, thanks OP, bought a 60, 100 and a 140L for $51.92 delivered.

  • WOW what a bargain! Just got 4 x 140ltr @ $72.91 Delivered! I'm one happy "camper".

  • Is this too big for a gym bag? I would only be carrying shoes, towel and a change of clothes, no other equipment.

    • +2

A carry on cabin bag on to the plane is roughly 32 litres in size, this is double that.

So, to answer your question, yes, it is too big for a gym bag if you are only carrying shoes, towel and a change of clothes.*

*Unless you are a giant and have size 20 feet, a tent for a towel and XXXL clothes. :)
