Thanks dude. I actually always wanted to know how these are rated. So many HDR 300s out there but it seems that's more of a marketing gimmick than actual HDR.
My Samsung G7 is 600 and it's not too bad. I wonder what 1000 would look like :D
I dont think displayHDR 300 exists does it? Or did they make a new even lower rating to be more of a scam?

Hey what would you recommend in this price range for 4K day to day office tasks (not gaming)? Looking in the 27-32" range.
@icarus255: 27" 4K is overkill, so if you want 4K i'd suggest a 32". That said, I run 3 x 27" 1440p monitors, I don't think 4K has much benefit unless you've specifically got 4k content. I say this because 4K generally screws up with scaling of unoptimised software, and can be a real PITA.
In terms of what is good in the price range, any of those dell monitors for around $300 for 27" 4K would be alright, not too many 32" 4K in this price range though. The 27" 1440p monitors for around $250 were definitely the best deals though.
I have been waiting for so damn long (and very patiently) for a decent HDR600 for around $500.
I can’t even dream of a 1000 being anywhere near my price range so 600 will do me fine.

HDR10 = Vesa 400 which is a pointless rating if anyone is curious. 600 is starting to get somewhat useful, but really VESA HDR ratings starts at 1000.
