What a time to be alive, totally viable B450 boards for a pineapple

    • +2

Even a B550 option as well!

    • +8

And the cheapest mid range current gen GPU to put in it is only $1050.

  • +1

Can't wait for them to do "½ Price off Selected GPUs"

    • +5

still above official RRP after 1/2 off :)

  • Smells like the X570S boards are incoming.

  • Wow great deal on the z590 gaming force. $250 is a bloody bargain considering the specs.

Will be a great overclocked, Enhanced Power Design: 16+1+1 Duet Rail Power

When gpus are outrageously priced, savings like this on other components are a blessing.

    holy shit

already have a b450 that does the job perfectly but now I'm so tempted to upgrade just for the heck of it

    must resist…

    • +2

Me too. Looking at that b550 bazooka! $90 is a steal.

  • MPG Z590 lookin tasty

  • +1

Not a single m-itx board in there. Wish there was at least 1 in the lot.

    • +1

      not 50%, but "Gigabyte B550-I-AORUS-PRO-AX $195.3"

I'm new to building my own PC and I know this is going to sound stupid but the MSI MPG Z590 GAMING FORCE Intel.

The naming scheme shows that this board only works with Intel CPUs correct?

    • Not stupid at all, always best to check, man.

  • +1

    10th and 11th Gen Intel CPU's

  • man it's tempting to upgrade my x370 but it works just fine :/

    • Aorus x470 here the one with all the fancy RGB all over the board why I don't want too get rid of it, I think it's the Gaming 7 model, the previous Aorus x370 I had the same crazy RGB over all over the board can't find this in the x570 boards

    • same, but my ram isn't at full speed… hmm

  • I do crack up everytime how gigabyte advertise RGB fusion 2.0 as a big selling point on their boards when from personal experience and I think also reviewed universally it's pretty damn horrible. Great boards though and no issues but damn Fusion is awful! Great price on the gaming X x570 wish I'd waited a bit longer, mobos and AMD 5th gen are coming down in price so fast.

    • i found you cannot set custom RGB Colors in the Bios, even on their flagship board…

  • EDIT: Starts 8pm 18/6, so ignore my comment below

So far I'm not having the discount applied to

The gigabyte x570 board to $100
Or the two sub $50 B450 mainboard

I go to checkout and it remains the same price..

.. disappointing but Im assuming they are sold out

  • +1

Turns out the 30% discount applies to the mobo/cpu bundles as well.
    So at the bottom end:
Bundle — AMD Ryzen 5 3600 AM4 CPU OEM With Wraith Stealth Cooler + MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX II ATX Motherboard
    Becomes $328

    While further up
    Bundle — Intel Core i7-11700K 5.0GHz LGA 1200 CPU + MSI Z590 PRO WIFI 6E LGA 1200 ATX Motherboard
    Becomes $742

  • Just bought the Z590 Mobo, will look for a new cpu another time

    • How is the board? I cannot find alot of info on it

  • is b450m working well with ryzen 5 1600 ? considering to replace my old b350m

  • Any recommendations from this list to build a new gaming/editing machine?
I'll be running 2 or more x SSD's, a Nvme or 2, 32gb (or more) ram, pci lanes and speed matters, not sure what else to mention.
