I've noticed Sennheiser has started stuffing their low-end with cheap rebranded models. Anyone who's used this model?

    • isn't sennheiser gone now? didn't they sell the audio branch off to some audiology company?
edit: i know one of the big companies did… i might be wrong about sennheiser

      • Isnt that Plantronics? Not sure about seinnheiser.

        • just googled it - sennheiser did sell their consumer branch to Sonova

@dandoon: RIP sennheiser. It looks like the deal hasn't gone through yet though, but going forward it probably won't be the company we all know and love in the future

    • I bought these last year when it was $150 and looked up past OzB threads and reviews. What they said about how tight the headphones are was accurate however it's either stretched or I've become accustomed to it.

I would recommend. Great for the gym.

  • Been thinking about this one but it seems to be on par with Soundcore Q20 which is 50$ cheaper

    • Poor build quality.

      • This one or Soundcore Q20?

  • Disregard, shouldn’t drink post.

    • Looks promising. Is this better than an Audio Technica ATH-M50XBT even with an older BT 4.1?

For my listening preferences I'd say yes but I'm not a fan of the M50X sound or comfort. As a guide my go to wireless cans are the Sony XB900N's but am enjoying these Focals at the moment, even though comfort wise the Sony's are much better. I also have the Senny 4.50BT which I haven't used since I got the XB900N's and consider them lacking value in comparison to the other 2.

  • Just wondering if I'm going crazy or anyone else with these is having the same issue…

I use these while mowing around my acreage. There's three or four spots around my property where these will disconnect from my phone for seemingly no reason and then reconnect when I go past. One of the spots is under the power pole, another is near a fence (whether electric fence is on or off) another is just at the back of the house (seemingly not near anything electrical).

The same doesn't happen with my galaxy buds and only started happening with these Sennheisers a year ago.

Could it be when my phone is on the edge of wifi? I don't really see why any of that would affect Bluetooth.

    Weird, man.
