Lowest price I've ever seen online for this excellent Handheld Gimbal 4K camera. For around ~$134 AU with shipping you really can't go wrong considering the price of other similar cameras.

This video review review compares it to the DJI Osmo Pocket in both features and video quality.     The FIMI is much warmer and better saturated than the DJI in the linked comparison vid. I really don't need one of these. Or do I? I probably do.

      Pocket 2 can do 4k60, bigger sensor so low light performance is slightly better. Also has active tracking. Not sure if fimi has this now with firmware updates. Seems to be more accessories available ND filters, etc. But for $134. This is a bargain.

        Doesn't sound like it's worth 5x the price. The FIMI looks perfect as a starter because let's be honest, it'll probably end up in a draw somewhere after a few months.

          I think that's fair. I do love my pocket 2. It has a wider angle then the pocket 1, so more similar to the fimi.

          The great thing is the ability to take stabilised footage with such a small camera and minimal setup time. Phone gimbals or camera gimbals need to be set up each time. U just power this on and away you go.

    I had both this Fimi Palm and Osmo Pocket 1. It is a very good product, great video quality and very close to Osmo Pocket. the Fimi wider angle is more enjoyable and the wi-fi connection is a plus. On the negatives the menu il clunky, the app a bit less refined, and — BIG BIG missing for me - there is no tracking for objects, only faces, which limits the cinematic. Another downside is the max video is 4k30fps ( a part a 1080p 4x and 8x slow motion with lower quality).
    For $134 it is a HUGE bargain !

    Words in the reviewers are the mic is really bad on this device compare to DJI or your smart phone. You can add a mic but then it totally destroy the purpose of have a small pocket size all in one gimble camera.

    May be money are better spend getting the DJI or a gimble for your phone? Or even just use your phone if you have a recent flagship. The mic design and stabilization of flagship phone in the past 18 months are really good and makes a device like this pointless.

        Both are still toys compared to normal large optical lenses.

      For social media, as the toy lenses of mobiles are intended (inc. iPhones), 25fps is not that bad.
      For more professional viewing (I will not accept iPhone or FIMI or DJI) you are better with joystick & other missing controls in all mentioned devices.
      Nothing compares to larger optical lens & smooth zoom in/out (eg. 10x) & most cost less than iPhones.

      I agree, all including iPhones, suck for prosumer+ video.

        I cannot disagree more with your comment on gear…..

        It sis all about the shooter. Yes proper gear gives the shooter an edge compare to someone who is only using a GoPro / Mobile. Only if the shooter know what to do. On the other hand, a shooter that has good knowledge and technique can still produce good material with a phone.

        BTW I am the shooter that produce garbage no matter what you give me and my wife is the one who make commercial material on her S10 with gimbal and Moment lens.

    shame it's 25 fps, as for motion capture - which is what you'd use this for 30fps or more is a must to reduce that stutter feel. otherwise bargain.

    Ive been looking to buy a gimbal to live stream lawn bowls games. Every other setup that Ive seen has a gimbal that you attach your phone/ipad too.

    It appears that this doesnt need the phone attached?
    How would you livestream with this? Would you just attach it via bluetooth/wifi hotspot to the phone? Generally livestreams are to Facebook.
    Is this fit for purpose? A Bowls green is roughly 40m long. You generally video from the end where the bowl is travelling too.

    Cheers for any advice & not taking the piss (too much)

    Mine finally arrived today. Such a good camera. Be sure to download the FIMI PLAY app for more advanced settings like the camera movement speed. The default speed is soooooo slow.
