      My thoughts exactly. When I ordered I didn’t have to go through the work around method. I was able to order as per normal. But who knows Kogan has been known to be unpredictable!!

          This is my first ever apple airpod. It has been interesting. Its noise cancellor is magic!

          btw, I wasn't really interested/intended to buy such device. But, since it was half-prcie, I bought it. Not disappointed so far.

    got mine today. definitely genuine but appears to be US import (model: MWP22AM/A).
    same model being sold at bestbuy, bhphoto etc. However, it is still covered by 1 year Apple warranty

      Same here. At least we’ve got the 12 month warranty with Apple. No apple care + which is unfortunate but expected.

      Hey mate have you checked with Apple using your serial number (https://checkcoverage.apple.com/au/en/)? I just did this and got the message that my purchase date could not be validated. Went through the process of correcting this with Apple which involves a phone call and sending them my invoice showing the date I purchased.

      They advised that since Kogan is an unauthorised seller, the best they could do was provide me with a purchase date 3 months ago (effectively giving me less than 9 months of Apple warranty since my purchase date).

      Interested to hear if anyone else in the same boat or whether people have valid purchase dates on theirs.

        I have already tried to verify on there but also couldn’t get it verified. Haven’t gone through Apple support yet but might just to get it sorted. It’s confusing, is it 12 months standard or ~9 months? No idea. Let’s hope someone else or Apple can clear this up.

          It's meant to be 12 months however Apple has advised that since Kogan is an authorised reseller, they can't verify the 21/06 purchase date. The best outcome they could offer me was a verified purchase date of 15/03, which means my coverage will run out 15/03/2022 (12 months from the 'verified' purchase date).

          I see this as an issue with whatever stock Kogan sold us. They explicitly advertised 1 Year Worldwide Apple Warranty and this definitely does not seem to be the case.

            @officersean: I think I’ll contact Apple support and go through the same procedure as you did, and contact Kogan afterwards. It’ll be interesting to see what they have to say about it. Feel free to ask yourself as well, it’d save me some time. Let me know if you end up doing anything!

              @ThatNintendoKid: Hey mate I have been all over Kogan trying to get an appropriate response. So far they've come back 4 times with the same cookie cutter response revolving around "if you have issues with your product and Apple can't help you, you can contact us" which is completely beside the point given they advertised 1 Year Apple Warranty and that's not what I've received.

              Will keep at it and post any updates.

    I received this item.

    Has anyone experienced low sound quality with this Airpods Pro?

    When I speak, the other side tells me: "it seems like you have put your phone on speaker!". So, my voice is not transmitted with good quality to the other side, although they can hear me fully.

    Has anyone experienced this?
