You never know when you need a decent pair of scissors.

  • Any good as a utility scissors /kitchen scissors?

I found it kinda garbage to be honest. the plastic is bad and grip is uncomfortable. but I guess its appropriate for this price.

Thanks for the comment. Not going to buy it.

      • It's marketed as "office" and "essentials". I really don't think it's intended to be kitchen scissors. Bit harsh to call it garbage.

    • Maybe not for harder use, but they're perfectly serviceable.

Would like recommendation on scissors that should last many years?
Cheap ones tend to brake in less than 12 months, and I don't use it much…

    • IKEA's are cheap and I had them for years still not broken, but I just cut paper and herbs

        "herbs"

      Fiskers

When it comes to scissors, you can't look past the classic orange handled Fiskars scissors. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00006IFN9/ — I have had a pair of these for over 10 years and they stay sharp. I also have a pair of Fiskars 8" Amplify Scissors as well which you can get from Bunnings, they can cut through leather and other thick materials with ease. Fiskars is the brand you want for scissors.

      1 lol
Best Prime deal so far :)

If you got big hands, the thumb gets stuck in one side. Better off with a bigger pair

These are stationery scissors, not kitchen scissors, before people start arguing again.

    They’re pretty good IMHO.

    • I can't imagine why someone would buy cheap scissors like this that are designed for paper and cardboard and think they would be good as kitchen scissors, smh.

    • +1 for correct spelling of stantionery

      • They also don’t move so I guess either would be fine!

      • -1 for your spelling of stationery then?

        • +1

          haha! quite.

  • surely this is a loss making venture for them

  • Says 100% claimed

Just remember, if you already had many perfectly fine scissors in the house and you bought this, then you wasted $1

Very good, buy first, think later

  • Too bad it's gone now. Had my hopes up for $0.99 + 15% cashback lol

  • +1

  • Removed expiry, should work well!
