I bought it when it was 130 and can recommend it.

Damn, I bought this for $219 last month! Oh well, still a very good mower so far. Most definitely worth the $119 if you are considering it! It's a corded electric mower but has decent umph. Mows some of the thicker parts of the yard without issue.

  • How hard is it to assemble? Read a couple reviews and most complain about poor assembly instructions

Not any harder than putting an ikea chair together

Look, the instructions are not great cause they only have pictures very similar to IKEA but at the end of the day it's only like 3 main pieces that you have to put together. I think most people are upset cause it doesn't tell you which way the handles go but you work it out in the end.

    • Not hard. Just read the instructions and don't be in a rush.

Have this from last year sale and can recommend it.

Besides mowing, I had to learnt a new skill one my first time using it - how to repair a cut power cable -_-

    • +3

      and CPR?

    • That's been my main concern about buying this model. Looking to get this for someone elderly… So the cable can be more than an annoyance, possibly even a danger?

    • how to repair a cut power cable

taking the piss or for real?

  • Damn, also just bought this a few weeks ago for $219 from Mitre 10.

  • Does this work ok on buffalo grass?

    • I have the same question, anyone here to answer? (i brought it anyways).

    • +2

I have Sapphire Buffalo and this works great! Its a really good mower (i have never used big petrol ones though)

  • +1

I'd be all over it if it was a petrol one

  • +2

It is better than the dual battery version of Ozito Mower?

  • How about CityMower 18? Any experience with this?

  • Does the power cable ever get in the way?
Like is it safe to avoid snipping it

    • +4

common sense prevails I.E. mow away from the connection so its not getting in the way

      • +1

        ^ This guy common senses

        • Yeah he commonly senses

      • common sense prevails

I'll steer clear from it then and get a Cordless

  • Bought one, thanks OP!

  • +1

Have it from last sale and recommend it. Use on Buffalo grass

  • Bought this one yesterday. Any recommendations for line trimmer?

  • +1

I bought it on prime day last year, Highly recommended
now I have to go claim on my price protection.

Hey, just sayin dudes and dudettes - Ive used a corded electric mower for 5 years and it's the bane of my life - DO NOT buy this CORDED mower
Save your pennies till you can afford a battery powered one

  • +1

Thank OP. I like grass and this will help me cut it real good.

  • Cheaper from council cleanup pile of my neighbour.

  • I got it for around $160 I think last prime day? It's pretty good, plenty of power. My blade seemed to go dull after only a few uses though. Now when I cut the grass it has the torn, jagged ends rather than straight lines. Unless there's something else that would cause that when mowing?
