        I tested on my dad's Poco X3 Pro and it works with catch (which uses the Optus network). I can't imagine why it wouldn't work with Telstra.

  Just a warning, the phone uses PWM dimming, so make sure you're the type that won't get headaches from the screen at low brightness before you commit to purchasing the phone.
