    This is the regular price.
    Where's the bargain in this?

    • +3

The bargain is make them $100 more expensive and have a "sale" once a month.

They could go one better and announce a closing down sale, with secret plans to close down within the next 50 years.

The last 100% Australian made UGG boot company from start to finish and own the last sheepskin footwear tannery in Australia

@TEER3X: Ahh the good ol' Kathmandu marketing model

    • -2

Where else can you buy a Merino Cross Sheepskin, tanned in the last Sheepskin tannery, Australia manufactured for $69?

      • Here's what a 10 second eBay search yielded

Note this is the regular price on eBay. In order for this to be a deal, you would have to offer something providing significant savings to the customer

        • And you believe what you buy on ebay?

We are a manufacturing company and own the last sheepskin footwear tannery in Australia.

Instead of bad mouthing us, why don’t you buy off eBay?

          • +2

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: With that kind of attitude, I will
I'd rather buy off someone who's transparent with their prices, rather than bloating their RRP and providing "sales"
Those kind of dishonest marketing practices also make one question your incredulous claims of being the "last sheepskin footwear tannery in Australia"

            • +1

@inasero: Having dealt with their Customer 'service', they have this kind of attitude all the time. The ebay seller likely provides a better service ironically :)

            • -2

@inasero: All other sheepskins are tanned overseas,

              That’s a fact

          • +2

@UGGAustraliaOfficial: Also, there are dozens of other retailers/manufacturers claiming to be made in Australia, here's what a cursory search yielded, and as we all know anyone can claim to make the claims of being made in Australia without proper enforcement or accreditation:

            https://uggexpress.com.au/
            https://originaluggboots.com.au/
            https://www.uggsince1974.com.au/
            https://www.uggs.com.au/
            https://uggbootsaustralia.com.au/

So there goes your competitive advantage - so tell us again why we should buy from you?

            • @inasero: In fairness to them, they're the last 'tannery' - plenty of Australian made products using sheepskin tanned overseas, so they do have a point there.
However, their marketing team and customer service certainly don't seem to be interested in growing their business and seem to enjoy arguing with their Customers more, while their competitors probably avoid dispensing bad attitude on public forums as it's obviously a bad look…

              • @browneh: Do we have any evidence of that - other than what the rep has claimed? Anyone can make any kind of claim these days, without substantive evidence (see my link above)

                • @inasero: Good point, I'm not sure to be honest! I just remember reading a newspaper article about them a while back.
Edit: A quick google turned up at least two more, Canberra Tannery and Tasman Sheepskin Tannery - so I think you're right.

  • I'm still waiting for a delivery of an item bought on the 1st of June from these guys.
That was meant to be a birthday present for the 18th of June.

We are here to help Ozbargainers get awesome deals!!

    • This is a site for deals, not "deals"
Come back when you have a legitimate deal

  • +4

I bought two of them from the previous deals and the quality is very good. I would love to buy another one.
However, I have to neg this as the attitude is unacceptable.

    • +1

Thank you for the positive comment on the quality of the product, much appreciated

  • +1

Saw the same product, even the same image on Amazon for $51 last time this deal was posted, didn’t say anything then but will mention it now.

    Questions you have to ask?

Is it a Merino Cross Sheepskin?
    What length is it?
    Where is it tanned?
    Is it Australian Sheepskin?
    How wide is it?
    How thick is it?
And once again where is it tanned?

    www.uggaustralia.com.au

Is the ONLY UGG boot company from start to finish which is 100% Australian and owns the last sheepskin footwear tannery in Australia!

  • +1

I bought a couple of these in the last 'sale' and have to say was really impressed for the price they are quality sheepskins, seems better value than others you could find in the same price range.

    • Thank you so much for your positive comments, it’s customers like you who make this Ozbargain Weekly Specials possible!

  • +3

That is an appalling attitude for a customer fronting role.

  • I bought one during the last deal.
Was really high quality and was super for the price.
    So I bought another 2.
What a mistake! The 2 subsequent ones that arrived were short pile, and in fact, were both stuffed into the same satchel that the first one arrived in. i.e. the first one that arrived had the same volume as the 2 that subsequently arrived.
    Very disappointed.

    • Apologies for that experience, we hope all our Skins have the same quality and density

  • Pretentious attitude to perspective buyers

  • Have just received our size exchange for 2 pairs of boots and only contained 1 pair of the wrong size.

  • Hey rep - could you care to comment on the claim by your competitor that your products are made in China? How is it that you claim that yours is the only product manufactured in Australia, when there are literally dozens of other companies all claiming to be made in Australia?

"UGG’ and ‘UGG Australia’ products are made in China by Deckers Outdoor Corporation, which we are not in any way affiliated with."

  • That article is referring to the Deckers Brand which we have no association with (they copyrighted the word "ugg" overseas so local brands such as ourself can not use it overseas). All of our products are made in our factory in Laverton North, Victoria. You are welcome to visit and see it for yourself if you'd like. Many other companies send their skins overseas to make the boots where as we make it all locally. We have the last sheepskin footwear tannery in Australia.

Also many companies can use the Made in Australia label too if part of the product is made in Australia. We use a Australia Made and Owned label on our products.

  • These guys post every 3 days or so, granted with different products.
This is actually more expensive than their previous rug deals so not sure how it is a bargain.
Sad to see comments returning about poor quality and service which I experienced last year.

    • We are only allowed to do 2 deals per week and the deals have to be at least 24 hours apart.

The Recommended Retail Price for the Sheepskin is $165.00

Oz Bargainers Pay $69 which also includes delivery

  • Please do the $58 mini boots deal again for EOF, please :)
